章 43: Chapter 43. When She Was a Girl

Isabelle has changed into a comfortable silk pyjama set, and they've decided to stay for the night at MacKenzie's mansion. Rayleigh has even taken another day off tomorrow, using her power as Vice President after seeing that she doesn't have any surgeries scheduled.

Spending more time with Isabelle is something Rayleigh loves to do now, as much as she loves her research and books. Having Isabelle around is truly peaceful for Rayleigh. And when she heard about Isabelle's plan to relocate her office to New York, she was very excited. She even made a phone call to Isabelle's mother, discussing Isabelle's plan, and the three of them had a lovely conversation together.

"If Belle wants you to stay with us, then let's go, Mae." Rayleigh tried to address Isabelle's mother using the same affectionate term Isabelle uses.
