章 57: Part 3: Chapter 57: Sunday revelation

Sonia bent over another report. With a completed report it would give her opportunity to attend the service. A week had passed. A week where she felt out of sorts, confused.

She was forgetting stuff. Fearful of dark places, she jumped at every little sound. The stacked furniture was an everyday occurrence she could not explain. Each morning she cleared the door before she left for work. She was worried.

Noting last night's casualties, three men dead - one blown to bits, a gruesome task which called for absoluut care. A bile rising mission she completed with empathy. A family back home - wherever home was - waited for the remains of their loved one. The other two were in a better condition if you overlook the torn torso and missing lower parts.
