章 11: The Aftermath

Erica stood behind the door and watch her friend bitting her lips so hard and thinking about what just happened.

"I think you have finally come across someone who is much stronger and annoying than you" she spilled out and walked towards her and sat on the bed "what do you mean by that?"

Kiara asked her "you know what I'm talking about so stop pretending... Are you gonna attend?"

She asked her and started smiling "No!" Kiara answered picking up her phone.

"Don't tell me you ain't gonna honor that invitation" Erica lamented and took the phone from her...

"I'm not gonna attend neither today or tomorrow okay so give me my phone.

I need to do something important." Kiara answered and took the phone from her.

Erica stood up from the bed and sat on the sofa "well, let see if you would or not" Erica exclaimed and dialed some number on her phone.

She dialed some number on her phone and the call quickly went through then someone answered

"hi.." Erica said as soon as the person picked up the call "hi.."

"I guess you invited Kiara over to the bar right" Erica said loudly and Kiara who was busy on her phone heard what she said.

She quickly rushed from where she was sitting and went close to Erica and tried taking the phone from her but she couldn't "what on earth are you doing Erica?"

She asked her then Erica started laughing "making her/him understand you will deliberately not honor the invitation!"

She said "Are you crazy?!" Kiara shouted "Yeah so watch me"

she said and kept talking to the bar attendant "so as I was saying..." She stopped talking then raised an eyebrow and saw Kiara bitting her lips so hard "Kiara said...."

She didn't finish her statement then Kiara interrupted "okay fine I will go happy?"

she said with a frown on her face making Erica bursting into laugher....

"I thought you said you ain't going so what happened.. scared of him?" Erica asked her still laughing.. "you said Kiara said what?"

he asked bringing Erica's attention back to the call "oh I mean she said she gonna come around so expect her"

she said and giggled making Kiara frown more "that's great then. Thanks for letting me know" he said and hanged up.

Erica couldn't stop laughing immediately the call ended. She couldn't believe Kiara of all people will just changed her mind just because of a prank she tried playing on her...

"I'm gonna pay you back for what you did" kiara blabbed out and walks out of the room and went downstairs "Kiara of all people just mellowed down just like that... This is interesting.."

she said to herself and went downstairs also to troll at Kiara who was now relaxing in the sofa with a glass of juice by her ...

"why don't we go and start preparing you for your date?" She said teasingly raising an eyebrow "excuse me! It not a date... It just some useless invitation" Kiara replied and kept drinking....

"oh really... Do you want me to tell him you just said it useless" immediately she said that, Kiara got choked with the juice and spilled out the juice in her mouth "you won't dare!"

Kiara warned her "you know I don't get frightened with your threats... so let's go upstairs and get you ready.. or should I call...?"

She ended her statement and laughed again. Kiara hits her on the shoulder "I hate you so much" "and I love you more babes" Erica added and laughed...
