She knew that she needed to take action, so she left the guild's boundary and returned to her small home, where she was alone with her thoughts.

As the day wore on, Kayra waited anxiously for dusk to fall. Finally, when the sky was dark, she approached the guild's entrance and spoke to the guard. She whispered, "Uncle, can you tell Alex… Uncle Alex that Kayra is here to see her brother?" 

'A commoner child?' The guard looked down on her and snorted. The man had no intention to do so as her request and ignored her blatantly.

'What's wrong with you?! I, a single child living alone in that place! … Don't they care about what happens to me?!'

Kayra thought of standing at the entrance waiting for Alex but she was not allowed to do so.
