Zina slowly opened her eyes, trying to make sense of her surroundings. The sterile smell of disinfectant filled her nostrils as she gazed around the unfamiliar hospital room. Panic crept into her mind as she struggled to remember how she ended up here. The last thing she could recall was running and a figure chasing her. Everything else was a blur.

Suddenly, the sound of the door creaking open drew her attention. A man entered, his eyes filled with relief as he hurried towards her. Before she could react, he enveloped her in a tight embrace. Zina's heart raced, her mind reeling with questions as she attempted to push him away.
