'Supreme Commander and the parliamentarians followed after General Gerald into the meeting room though they are still shaken by the disaster they are old foxes that had been through so much and got their bearings back in no time.'
After they all sat down in the meeting room General Gerald nodded at them and spoke.
"Gentlemen the information which you are going to see is of very high significance and I don't need to remind you all of the confidentiality at such matters." After seeing everyone nod at his words
Gerald smiled slightly and then pressed a button on the table causing the room to dim and a screen to switch on.
"Everything you will see from now on was either captured by satellite or recovered from the Guardian base. Though there are some good news I hope you all be prepared for some shocking things."
As he finished speaking the screen started playing scenes from the base during the activation of the module.
AS everyone started watching it their expression turned from curiosity to shock to horror by the end when they heard wolf saying " I thank you for your assistance even though your goals were different but still it helped me. For that I will tell you some information I have sent out the emergency beacon and any patrol ships receiving the signal would come by even the earliest at 2 years time. So all earth has two years worth of time before being incorporated by us."'
As they heard the declaration their faces went pale in horror it was then that dawned onto them that it was a grave mistake they made to activate the alien thing. Not in their wildest dreams would they have thought that it was an Alien robot hiding behind the shell.
There was a weird silence followed by the switching off the screen as no one knew what to say as even their brains aren't grasping the immensity of the situation that they witnessed.
Cough…Cough…
'"Supreme Commander I know this is something unprecedented and a tough situation but we need to take control of situation. That robot Wolf said we have two years of time and whether it is truth or lie is unknown but I can assure you one thing!"
Gerald stopped speaking and stared at everyone in the eye and continued "It's power is not something we can contend against, and this is proved during our experiments on it. It was able to withstand high temperatures that would melt even the toughest metal known to us into slag stored over hundreds of Gigawatts of power used to experiment on it and many more. And the most intimidating thing is the disappearance of the Base Guardian now except for the mountain there is not a single thing to show there ever was a structure built there."'
'Gulp…'
'It finally dawned on these old fogies that the situation is very dire, and the words of General Gerald made them understand that it was not some ordinary robot but something beyond their understanding and went into science fiction realm.'
'Sigh…'
'"Selah sighed aloud and said "What has happened has already been done and we can't change. No one would have anticipated that disaster will stuck us in this way. And we don't need to be so pessimistic about this situation maybe what the robot said is truth and we can finally reach beyond the stars. Just imagine how much powerful and technologically advanced a civilization has to be that can make a robot like that if we are able to get some benefits from them Our dreams of travelling star system and galaxies wouldn't be a dream of future."'
'Cough…cough…'
'The more Selah spoke the more agitated and excited he became causing his old heart to kick in and making him cough violently. "Selah!! Calm down" Jeremiah stood up hurriedly and patted his friends back and soothed him as he looked at Gerald who was calling emergency medical team. Jeremiah nodded at Gerald and had Selah sat on the chair and let him relax.'
'Selah took deep breaths and calmed down and thanked Jeremiah. "Thank you, my friend, but I am fine now. There is no need to for the medical staff to come, call them off Gerald."'
'"But…Supreme comma…" as Gerald was about to refute Selah waved his hand and cut him off "This is an order Gerald call off the medical team we shouldn't waste time on such things"'
'"I understand sir" Gerald replied and called off the medical team by sending the coded message.'
'"Pardon for my earlier unsightly behaviour. As I was saying it will be either an opportunity or a disaster for entire humankind. I would like to believe in optimistic side but from its actions of destroying the entire base. I will assume they are not some easy-going civilizations and for that we need to prepare extensively not juts us but entire world needs to prepare for the oncoming disaster or an opportunity."
"And please prepare contigencies for the cause of destruction, we should not let masses know the truth as it will just create more unrest in the country. Relay the relevant information with our allied nations and tell them to prepare for the opportune movement."
