章 62: Chapter 63

"I want you to follow me on this minor mission, Hizashi has been waiting for us and just informed me that the puppeteer I was careful about started to act one step further." I declared as I was standing in front of the huge window located in the Hokage's Office while a shinobi replied "Yes, Yuichi-sama."

The only people who called me like that while being in the Hokage's Office were the members of Origin, and the one who replied and would accompany me was Konan.

Chizu was currently away and accompanied from time to time by Jiraiya to gather intelligence on Sunagakure while Shikuro was still keeping an eye on Hiruko, the missing-nin from Konoha.

As such, I sent Hizashi to Rōran a while ago, a kingdom located in the Land of Wind but barely affiliated with Sunagakure and his report is the reason why I'm going there along with Konan.

I never talked about the missions I sent them to when I do not partake in them at some point, but I already did something at Rōran before and it will be a pleasure to see how the puppeteer will react...

'I wonder who we will see from the future too... Since I do not know if I will still be the Hokage while both Yamato and Sai's life will be different' I thought with a smile as I left the Office with Konan while my clone stayed under the monstrous piles of paperwork

I'm glad that clones do not get truly self-conscious or he would have fled my- his duties a long time ago, or even worse.

"Let's fly there with our wings, shall we? I want to see how much you improved your aerial skills." I said as one chakra wing looking as if it was made of black feather sprouted from my back while we were standing on top of the Hokage's building quite early in the morning

Konan couldn't help but exhibit a slight smile when I mentioned this and two white wings made of paper appeared on her back.

What was slightly more surprising however is that although they were made of paper, Konan's proficiency, and admiration of my wing, allowed her to make it hard to discern the multitude of paper stuck together and she also took the same shape as mine for hers, making her look more like an angel than she would have in the canon.

'And the years are going on quickly as she's already sixteen' I thought as I saw the young girl I took in looking more mature now, though she didn't reach her known look from the canon

Nevertheless, we departed for Rōran and I tested Konan's speed and movements on our way to see if she could easily evade most assaults without using her paper body to make them pass through since it would work better as a hidden ability, taking advantage of her foes' ignorance on her Kekkei Genkai.

She was surprisingly able to change her direction at will without being hindered by her momentum, something extremely hard to do unless you are born with wings which make it almost natural to learn.

It took me more time than her since I had to wait until I had my Senjutsu unlocked and had to use an alternative before, but considering that her first objective was to get her own wings, I shouldn't be surprised that she quickly learned how to master them.

After a while and from the moment we moved into the Land of Wind, we both put our masks on to hide our identities while changing our clothes.

Konan's mask wasn't truly one as she simply covered her face with lengthy papers bands as if they were bandages while leaving a space for her eyes which created two ambers-like glints surrounded by a shade of darkness, while the 'bandages' around her mouth was ripping and restoring itself when she talked.

She then let her blue hair loose unlike usual as she did not keep her pin, making it fall on her not-yet-fully-developed chest while covering her head with a raven-colored hood followed by a cloak with the same color, with edges looking like feathers and her exposed skin fully covered by papers as well.

She finally had a scarf that I knitted myself, with the same color as her hair with lotuses flower on it which was something she asked from me on one of her birthdays.

As for me, I decided to go with your friendly neighbor's style and... Nah, I choose a mask that was fitting my ability to create so many tentacle-like appendices, which gave an eerie feeling to anyone looking at me since my eyes were making it shines a lot while some spikes were sticking out from the side of the mask.

I then kept my hair tight in a ponytail and filled myself with Superman's glasses power, making it impossible to recognize me unless it is someone to whom I gave my identity out.

When we reached the main city, I sensed some disturbance going on, and closing my eyes I saw a yellow-haired boy with blue eyes and three whiskers on his cheeks getting overwhelmed by a dozen advanced puppets somewhere underground.

Easily identifying the boy as Naruto, I did not move towards him directly since I sensed Hizashi who quickly obliterated all of the puppets, saving the boy.

I was more interested in the two different chakra signatures I felt and decided to go towards them while Konan sent an origami bird to Hizashi so he would join us along with Naruto later.

Willingly making my chakra signature leaking so only great sensors could locate me, both Konan and I moved towards the two shinobi I felt, and even though they should have sensed us, they didn't budge at all which meant that they were either confident about my identity or simply reckless.

The moment we landed in front of them, I took a glance at the left one and quickly recognized Hinata which was an unexpected arrival but still a welcomed one... Now that I think about it, I wouldn't be able to humiliate Sakura once she's born, if I had a once of respect for her that is.

*cough* "May I know why two shinobi from Konoha are laying low in this city when there shouldn't have been anyone else dispatched?" I asked as I revealed a Konoha's headband that was under my sleeve on my left arm

"Hum, we-" "There's no need for us to explain ourselves since you already guessed, haven't you?" the boy to the right interrupted Hinata as he wasn't even looking at me but towards Konan instead with a curious expression

'And here's the boy I do not know at all... Judging from his black eyes I would say that he's an Uchiha which isn't surprising since they shouldn't be massacred because of my existence but...' I thought as I looked at him and saw a handsome and tall young man with long dark-ash blond hair

'But such colored hair is rare in the Uchiha Clan, though there is indeed a diversity of color such as brown, gray, dark purple, dark red, and heck I do know an Uchiha with pink hair' I thought as I knew that black wasn't the only hair color this Clan could have

Sighing, I took off my mask for a time and asked "And why would you think that, mister..?" as I was looking straight at his face to get more information

"Just call me Bob, Bob Uchiha." the serious-sounding man replied which left me in a daze for a few seconds before suddenly burst into laughter as I let out "T-that's the worst name combination I ever heard, and God knows I know quite a lot of them!"

Though I acted silly right now I still saw the glances of Hinata which shifted between the boy and me while looking somehow distressed, and also realized that 'Bob' was always careful not to look directly into my eyes, making me unable to read his mind.

Those two huge hints were enough for me to confirm my intuition since it wasn't something that I would have said to anyone, not even friends.

"Alright alright I will stop playing, it's quite easy to know what happened to your group and who you are considered the place we're standing on... But before talking about that, we should wait for the missing members isn't that right?" I suggested as the two of them nodded in agreement without any hesitation whatsoever

Looking more generally towards the boy, he was indeed quite tall, maybe as tall as I was around his age, his long dark-ash blond hair along with his handsome face was truly making him a lady killer.

He had slim black pants covered by another layer of black and golden clothes that is attached by a pearl-like white belt and the usual kimono knot under it to keep it tight.

His upper body was completely exposed from the front but aside from that, he was wearing a white vest with some adornment with the same black and gold color as his pant, while a piece of clothes left his belt from the front and was going around his shoulder and upper back, making him seems larger.

Finally, he had two beautifully manufactured katana hanging on each side which gave off some dangerous vibe even sheathed.

'At least, his clothing style doesn't suck like mine' I thought as we awkwardly waited while they no longer got surprised by Konan when she also showed her face

Thankfully, it didn't take long before Hizashi arrived followed by Naruto, whose first words after joining us was "Uh? So you three were already together? Why was I the only one who ended up alone!"

'Three?' I thought before turning myself towards Naruto before he added "Eh? Why are you here too Jiisan?" which made my eyebrow twitch but I restrained myself from using a famous technique called the 'fist of love'

"For someone I don't know you sure talk casually with me huh? Remind me of a certain annoying brat..." I said as I scratched my head before turning back to the two smarter shinobi and asked "Although I have an idea as to how you got here, I would like to hear it from you."

Surprisingly, it was Hinata who first replied "We were sent on a mission to get rid of a missing-nin from Suna called Mukade and we're told that he was at Rōran to find and use the Ryūmaku."

"We were told that it had the power to send people back in time if misused and when we reached the city we were guided by the queen, and someone else, to its source so we could stay and protect it better but Mukade was already here and was able to unleash its power as we arrived." 'Bob' continued to explain as Naruto let out an 'I remember now' while bumping one of his fists on his other hand

'Seems like Rōran is still doing well in the future if they talk about a queen' I thought before asking again "I'm guessing that the team was composed of you three and led by Konan since this boy reacted only to my presence?"

He nodded in agreement and I decided to properly present the three of us more properly as I said "Though it seems to not be necessary, I'm Yuichi Senju the Fourth Hokage, I'm 35 years old, Aquarius, and my blood type is kind of complicated to explain." before turning to Konan so she could also present herself as she only said "Konan, 16 years old." which seems to shock Naruto even more

Lastly, Hizashi added "I'm Hizashi Hyūga, 24 years old." as he took off his mask and stared at Hinata who did not look to be mourning him thankfully and was staying calm and composed

"Seems like we were sent twenty years into the past huh." 'Bob' muttered before adding "Guess I will stop pretending." before showing us his back which had the Senju Clan symbol as he declared "I'm Yushiro Senju, 16 years old, and as you know by now I'm- no, I will be your son."

Smirking, I said "Note to self, don't forget the contraceptive in four years." as a notebook appeared in my hand along with a pen before faking some random writing

"I honestly expected you to say something like that." Yushiro said before sighing at my antics while Naruto chuckled

Just smiling after hearing him, I looked towards Hinata and shamelessly asked "So, what's the name of my son's girlfriend?" which made Hinata goes from zero to a hundred in terms of blushing as smoke was somehow leaking from the top of her head while unknown words were continuously leaving her mouth

Looking back at Yushiro I saw him avert my gaze but he still said "Now she won't be able to reply for a while..." as he scratched his head with a slightly awkward expression

"Nevertheless, she's Hinata Hyūga." Yushiro added as the Hyūga girl was still not back from wherever her mind was gone

"And I'm Naruto Namikaze!" the spiky blond boy exclaimed happily but didn't realize that it was quite surprising for me

'It was to be expected since the Uzumaki Clan is not truly extinct and there's not the Third to hide his true lineage anymore' I thought before asking "You're Minato and Kushina's son then?"

"That's right Jiisan!" he happily exclaimed and I didn't get annoyed at all this time considering my relationship with his parents

"Whatever, since you came here for a mission, I'm going to stay still and watch how competent the shinobi from Konoha are in the future." I said as I put my mask back on my face before adding "Mukade should be hiding somewhere inside of the gigantic underground of the city... Also, don't get too surprised by what you will see, here." as I marked the three of them with my chakra

"We'll show you how strong we are!" Naruto casually shouted as he had his hands behind his head, acting confident

"For someone who had to be saved from a dozen puppets, you sure talk big." I teasingly replied but he retorted "T-that's because they caught me off guard-dattebayo! Kurama is staying asleep since we arrived too so he didn't warn me..." as he scratched his head, embarrassed

"Then prove it to me." I announced with a smile before vanishing along with Konan and Hizashi to go somewhere specific

"Where are we going now, Yuichi-sama?" Hizashi asked and with a small smirk I replied "We're going to talk a bit with the Queen, it's time to end our part of the deal... And don't worry, you can hang out with the princess once it's over, I won't stop you."

Although his face was hidden behind his mask, I still knew that his expression shifted after hearing my words.

Nonetheless, I was eager to see how well these kids will perform down there... And although I don't need to act today, I'm going to war at the end of the week, after all, Suna finally decided to use the One-Tails.
