章 25: Evil

Both of us rushed in, cqc leading me to attack Jason's shoulder to cripple him. I honed in onto the glowing red spot on his right shoulder and ducked under a wide swing. With a swift, precise punch, I struck the target making his arm jerk away from me.
Not letting up, I continued to my assault on Jason: Punches, elbows, kicks, I struck every part of his body without fail.
Of course Jason is Jason, so he powered through and tried to grab me with his left hand. Sidestepping the attempt, I grabbed his arm, lifting it up as I stepped in and landed a strong elbow to his heart.
Six Grand Opening - Elbow Upthrust is what I did.
The cool move I used sent Jason stumbling back a bit, his back now pressed on a tree and giving me a opportunity to run up and press the attack. I unleashed another series of punches to his midsection, each punch actually shaking Jasom to his core. Jason grunted, swinging his machete in a wide arc. I ducked just in time, the blade whistling past my head.
'Hmm…'
Taking a few steps back, I took a glance over at Jason, he doesn't look like he's taken much damage.
I know he's a zombie and a anomaly but those strikes I dished out should have done massive damage to his bones and organs. I should at least be seeing some bleeding, but I don't see anything.
Jason got back up to his feet and swung his machete at me.
"AYO WHAT THE-!"
I could hear a small boom coming from Jason's slash, and my body instinctively rolled underneath whatever just shot out at me.
I turned around and I saw a entire group of trees cut in half right behind me.
"What the fuck?"
Jason can shoot air blades now? Why in the fuck can he do that!
Before I could continue my shocked thoughts, Jason was already in front of me. Tightening his fist, Jason threw out a strong punch to my head.
I crossed my arms as the punch struck me, sending me flying away a few meters into some bushes.
"Shit,"
Groaning, I shook of the impact as I got up. I heard a crack when Jason punched my arms, so I could only assume that my forearms fractured.
Luckily for me, my natural healing was good enough to where the fractures were already healing. Thanks Empowered physique and Kirei preset.
Wiping the blood from my mouth, I looked up and saw Jason sprinting towards me again, his machete just itching to get me.
Kicking away the bushes, I channeled my fist with physical enhancement magecraft to the max, before sprinting towards Jason as well.
A max enhanced Eight Postures of the Buddha Gaurd should do a stupid amount of damage to this cockroach,
I'll add in CQC to show me the best spot to strike,
Then I'll finish it with the black keys
I realized that in my fights with Micheal that I could have been done with him a lot faster if I simply just, kept using killing strikes.
As they say, make sure to double tap.
So now,
"HAA!"
I let out a battle cry as I stomped my foot down, just as Jason reached me.
As I saw the his blade come closer to my face, I activated CQC and saw exactly where to punch,
The solar plexus.
I rotated my body, letting my right hand flick into a fist as I struck Jason's chest again.
Jasons chest caved in, followed my a large number of cracking noises as he flew away from me.
Not letting up I grabbed six black keys, three in each hand, throwing them out towards the flying Jason. They caught up to him in no time, and pierced all over his body. Two in the head, two in what I assume is each lung, and two in his stomach.
Jason crashed to the ground, a large crater was made as hit the dirt. I walked over to him, seeing him struggling to get up.
'Six keys should be more than enough to stop any pesky regeneration.'
"RAHHH!"
Before I could land the finishing strike, Tommy jumped out of the bushes and slammed his shovel in Jasons head. A sickening crunch could be heard as I saw Jasons mask get borken and his face being stabbed through by a shovel.
"Ha...ha..."
Tommy ripped the shovel out of Jasons head, looking geniunely happy for once.
"August...we did it!"
Huh?
Did we?
No I need to make sure.
I moved Tommy to the side as I made my way to Jasons unresponsive body. He did look dead but I didn't get any system notifications for killing Jason.
Good thing I learn from my mistakes.
I channeled the physical enhancement through my right leg, letting it charge for a bit before bringing it down with all my might onto Jason's head. The impact was was massive, making another crater in the ground as his skull caved in further. Blood and gore splattered, but I wasn't taking any chances.
"Double tap,"
Lifting my leg again and stomping down once more, ensuring that Jason's head was nothing more than a mangled mess. The eerie silence that followed was unsettling, but I finally allowed myself a small sigh of relief.
Tommy was panting heavily beside me, looking at the gruesome scene.
"We did it, we actually did it!"
"Yeah, we did."
Whiping the sweat from my brow, I let out a sigh of relief.
Jason was a lot more dangerous then Micheal, but simply just keeping pressure on Jason and not letting him attack, I made the process of hunting him much more easier.
'Why didn't I just shoot Micheal more in the head when I first fought him?'

"Hmm?"
I got distracted as I moved awy from the system screen in front of me, Tommy was pointing towards Jasons corpse. I looked over and saw a bizzare sight.
It looked as if Jasons heart was beating?
That would be a understatement.
I could physically see it move up and down from his caved in chest.
'No way...'
I quickly turned back around to the system panel, seeing the last thing I wanted ot read be on it.
{You have dealt massive damage to the anomoly! A reward will be given!}
{Please be ready for phase two of the hunt!}
"TOMMY MO-!"
My warning was cut sort as the supposed corpse of Jason moved and grabbed me by the neck.
"!!!"
On instinct I channeled physical enhancement through my arm and punched Jason again, making him let me go as I quickly moved away from him.
"The fuck..?"
My neck hurt like shit, but I couldn't afford to focus on the pain. Jason's supposed corpse was now standing perfectly fine in the crater I had just created. His body started to convulse as new flesh began to wuickly form where his head was. I saw that his heart was glowing a errie red, so I could only assume that was the cause for this.
Jason suddenly let out a beastly scream, as we were both shown Jasons head split open and revealed a massive row of teeth all rotating in his mouth.
This ain't Jason no more.
"Tommy, get back!"
Jason stood, his movements were slow but deliberate, as if mocking my efforts. The black keys I had embedded in his body were dissolved, leaving no trace of the damage I inflicted. Jason let out a gurgle, as if he was laughing at me. He crouched down and picked up the broken pieces of his mask. Jason put the now broken mask on his face, looking like some demonic MF Doom from hell.
"Shit, this isn't good."
I couldn't have even imagined this ever happening, who the fuck was going to tell me their was phases to these shits!
I felt a chill suddenly go through my body, making me instantly activate my physical enhancement as I threw out a punch to match Jasons sudden punch to my head.
"Grr..."
The impact of our class sent air waves out, knocking Tommy and a few trees away. I could feel the vibrations from the impact rippling through my bones, making me take a few steps backwards.
Jason got significantly stronger now, even with phyiscal enhancement I was losing our clash of strikes. Jason raised his right arm with his machete and tried to cut my arm, but I quickly removed my arms and used the momentum of Jasons punch to gain some distance between me and him.
"Ha..ha...god damn!"
My arm was aching, and even with my two sets of enhanced healing the pain wouldn't go away. Jason's newfound strength was a game-changer, and I was running out of options.
"Tommy, get back!"
I yelled out to Tommy but Jason stood tall, his eyes now glowing red, a twisted grin forming on his malformed face. He seemed to enjoy the fear radiating from us.
"Stay down, you freak!"
Tommy swung the shovel again. This time, Jason let it him him, snapping it in half with his body.
"Shit!"
Tommy stumbled back, the broken shovel clattering to the ground. Jason moved towards Tommy, but I couldn't let that happen. I rushed forward, grabbing another six black keys as I stabbed Jasons back and swinging him away. Jason landed on his feet, staring us down. Just as he began to walk towards us, a shot was fired and hit Jason squarely in the temple.
I turned around and saw the fucking Sheriff and Deputy standing a fair distance away, their rifles in their hands.
"Sheriff!"
What the?
Why are the two of them here?
Wait did that RV couple call them?
They probably did.
Jason let out another roar, making the duo suddnely run away from us. Jason let out a small grunt before running after the cop duo, leaving me and Tommy incredibly confused.
"August come on we need to move!"
"Go ahead without me, I need to check something out!"
Damnit,
Everything is gettig worse now.
'But at least I have that.'
'This could be my trump card!'
"System, reveal the skill!"
