章 4: "New/Odd"
The next day I was allowed to go home.
But I wasn't able to attend school the next day.
I sat in my bed thinking.
About the lightning strike.
About the mark left on my back.
It all came back to me.
The thunder.
The sky.
Running.
The lightning.
"I was lucky to be alive."
My heart began to beat faster.
"I was lucky to be alive."

The room began to spin.
I calmed myself down and layed back on the pillow. My phone began to ring. I reached for it.
A surge of lightning shot through the phone from my hand.
I screamed and fell of the bed.
"What was that?"

I looked at my hands quickly to see if surges of lighting would still be there.
It was gone.
My heart was in my throat as I got up to get my still ringing phone.
Before I picked it up I looked at my hands one more time.
a small surge of lightning shot from my fingertips.
"Holy shit," I said.
"What's happening to me?"
