章 11: A Terrifying Experience...!(Volume 01 Chapter 11)
"Ahahah... What the hell happened?" Jake opens his eyes slowly realising the pain throbbing in his head, hard enough to make him feel as if someone had split his head open.
Jake takes both his hands and starts pressing hard around his head to suppress the pain.
After a couple of painful minutes, the headache was finally gone and Jake stands back on his feet.
Jake: Where the heck am I?
Jake looks around, realising that he was trapped in a cave surrounded by nothing but darkness.
Jake: What the hell? How did I come here? Wait, Where the heck am I?//panic//
Jake starts wandering around to find something and suddenly the grass on the ground starts glowing.
Jake: What the hell is this?//scared//
Alice: It's Mycena a part of flora these grass have a high medicinal value and are very rare to find. They are bioluminescence in nature which shine bright yellow if fell anyone approaching or in danger.
The grass on the ground light up bright felling Jake's movement and expose all the painting made on the walls of the cave.

Jake: That's cool! We receive perks on its kinds of the expedition.
Alice: If you want you can avoid this quest given by the system and find a way out of this cave.
Jake: Nah! it's alright, as a kid, I always loved wandering around my neighbourhood exploring stuff.
Alice: Very well please continue.
Jake stares his eyes out at the paintings with full concentration and tries to understand what the paintings tried to say.
After a couple of hours of staring at the paintings on the wall and hundreds of rejected theories of his own. Jake realises that it was out of his ability to understand the true meaning of the cave painting.
Jake: Huh Well that was a waste of time.//restless//
Jake gives up on studying the cave paintings and process on finding an exit.
Jake looks around but found no way of getting out except a hole on the ceiling of the cave from which a moonlight entered the cave making it less scary.
Jake: What am I gonna do?
Jake leans on the cave wall with disappointment as there was no way he would have made it that high and there was no way out anymore.
Just when Jake had given up everything as there was no way he was making a jump that high, the sound of light footsteps reach his ears, Jake rejoiced and eyes shining with hope shouts "HEY WHO IS UP THERE, HELP ME PLEASE I AM STUCK HERE".
But something strange happened, The moment Jake shouts for help the footsteps kind of stop it was a moment of silence as there was no sound, so Jake feeling helpless faces the ceiling shouts again "HEY ARE YOU THERE ANYBODY".
But nobody answered and as Jake was about to lie down in frustration, a creature as big as an average human jumps down alarming Jake.
Jake had no amount of energy left to even stand without taking the support of the wall, right know Jake was in a tight spot, He had nowhere to run, no strength left to fight it was kind of his end no matter how you see it, but now only a miracle could save him.
Jake started remembering the good times he had here, as the creature reduced distance between them by slowly marching towards and when he reached close enough he opens his huge mouth with ruthless tooth big enough to eat Jake whole with one bite, Jake folds himself together using the last bit of energy left in him to save him and the creature ruthlessly opens his jaws wide and laughs "Hahaha..."
Jake puzzled looks towards the creature and notices the crimson furry hair and the suspicious voice with which it was laughing, Jake soon realised that it was no other than Lila, so he strikes hard on her head with a stick lying beside him.
Jake: What the hell Lila?
Lila: Awh I am sorry!
Jake: What are you doing here and how did you find me?
Lila: Don't you remember what I told you last chapter that we could contact each other by thoughts.
Jake: Yeah I remember that but didn't our connection broke.
Lila: Yes! we couldn't talk but I could locate your last location and then I smelled my way here.
Jake: Your nose is quite good and if my nose is as good as you then, I think I smell grilled fish and meat.
Lila: you got quite a powerful smell I brought this foe you figured you would be hungry so grabbed some on the way.
Jake: Hmm... Give it to me I starving dead.
Lila: Yeah here you go. So did you find a way out here yet?
Jake: No! I could not the only way I see is the ceiling wall.
Lila: Ok I will go and take a stroll around you enjoy your food.
Jake: Yeah Yeah! knock yourself out I couldn't even find a gap for air passed through.
Lila: Hmm... did you read these inscriptions written on the wall?
Jake: Wh..t insc..r..ons?//speaking with a mouthful//
Lila: These paintings on the walls are writing of the ancient tribes.
Jake: Wait wait you can understand these painting on the walls.
Lila: Yes! why can't you?
Jake: No! Ah, by the way, can you read it out for me.
Lila: It tells about the legends of the five heroes and the seven stones that seals-off the seven deadly demons.
