章 15: Chapter 9
I knew that day Bri would never be the same after that. Though as time passed she got some of her smile back. She always tried to smile around others. Inside I could tell she was hurting, and I wanted so desperately to hold her; to tell her everything would be alright. I couldn't do that so one night I told her these words instead.
"Bri, can we talk?" I asked.
"Of course Rudy." she said.
Bri sat down next to me. I pull her into a hug and told her everything in my heart.
"Bri, I know your always smiling but it's ok not to smile every once in a while." I said.
"Rudy where is this coming from?" she asked.
"I know you must be sad and it's ok to cry. You don't have to be strong anymore." I told her.
"Rudy I am sad, I have every right to be. My brother left me." she said.
"Look Bri I can't speak for anyone but myself but I'll never leave you." I said.
"You can't promise me that Rudy." she said.
"Yes, I can. Bri meeting you and being with you has been the best times of my life. I don't know what's to come in the future but no matter what it is I'll stick with you. Not because I have to but because I want to. Bri you taught me the meaning of love and what it's like to be loved. Where you go I'll follow always. The only way I ever leave you is if I die but even then I'm not really dead. I'll live inside of you, in the memories we shared and the places we went. Everything I've ever seen or touched. I'll be there so let my stay." I said.
"Oh Rudy, I know you would abandon me. I'm scared I'll lose you one day but I know you don't want to leave. So until that time comes let's stay together just you and me."
After that Bri and I stayed together just the two of us until we met Ashley. I was gald I had both of them by me side. I was happy we got to spend time with each other. Now it's time to go but I don't regret every having told you our story.
