章 145: A New Life To Live

There were dreams Chunhee had that felt too real they made him sweat and tremble, scared they would happen in reality any moment. Most of the time, the dreams included one person – Park Yujin. Each time he tried to divert his attention away from this person, he was always pulled back – like a trampoline set in an enclosed space, leaving a person no chance to escape.

Contrary to what he had expected, however, the enclosed space was only an illusion he had set up for himself.

In reality, it was an extremely wide space that he could easily enter and leave any time he wished.

In his most recent dream, Chunhee dreamt of his sixth life repeating – a third chance to change the ending once again. In that dream, he did a terrible mistake that couldn't be erased, no matter how much he wanted to go back to the past. At that time, with no memories of the second chance in his sixth life, Chunhee's heart drowned in two things: selfishness and spite.

A/N: And this ends the story of Yujin and Chunhee in their sixth life! I remember having too many doubts while trying to write this story at first. Obviously, I have so many things I need to work on. Still, this story is one of the best I have written and I will forever be proud of it. I have previously thought and believed a lof of things - battles, showdown, and a lot of confrontation - are all needed for two people to grow and realize their feelings for each other. In this story, I realize it's not always the case.

While writing this story, I realized that extraordinary and scariest outcomes sometimes come from small and ordinary decisions that pile up until the person can no longer see the picture clearly. Sometimes, misunderstandings can be too scary that they push people to do things they don't really want for themselves. Accepting people are flawed and that love can be born out of ordinary, repeated, tragic lives, but can actually be as great and beautiful as the ones that are fought for through extraordinary, dangerous ways - that's what this story is all about. My heart is full knowing Yujin and Chunhee are finally together and will be together for their next lives!
