Ji Nuan, holding a pot of hot water, grumpily glared at Ge Ye, "What's so terrible about a baby boy? When a baby girl is born later, she will have her big brother to protect her!"
Ge Ye brightened up upon hearing this, "Exactly! Anuan, you're so clever!"
Ji Nuan, who handed the soaked soft beast skin over to Song Yu, looked at a ball of flesh humming on the warm platform. The little guy hasn't opened his eyes yet, and he made cute, milky noises while snuggling next to Ge Ye.
Ji Nuan turned her head, "Grandma Shaman, should we wrap the cub in beast skin?"
Grandma Shaman chuckled, "Little boys aren't that delicate. Females used to give birth to cubs in caves, and they'd place them in dry grass nests. After three days, they're able to open their eyes and crawl everywhere. They're incredibly mischievous."
