章 62: Tremendous Pain

Garmond felt as though he had unconsciously prepared for this very day, the constant pain he went through back in the school.

Ripping his muscles to shreds.

Putting all he had into a masochistic training. 

He had somewhat built up a resistance to pain, but even with that, the pain he felt at this moment was still too overbearing.

If he didn't go through all those training would he be able to bear this pain.

An average person would simply be drawn to insanity by such an intense pain, but he was no longer normal.

He had gone past the state were such a pain would instantly rip him mentally.

His mind was fortified with a powerful will and a strong yearning for power.

If this was the little sacrifice he had to pay for all the power he wanted, then he was willing to go through it.

At first, he kept counting the amount of techniques he had successfully absorbed, but as time went on, there seemed to be no end to it.
