***AUTHOR'S THOUGHT***
There is a question that was raised because of Luna losing to Julian in their serious bout... I just want to put out there my own thoughts on why this is so...
Luna was trained since she was a child so she may not be talented but with perseverance, she was able to become as strong as she is now...
Julian has been implied as a truly talented person... being talented is truly a gift and a cheat...
And when it was about sparring... Luna was made to become a killing machine... Fighting without care about life gives you no other thoughts but to kill... while sparring means you have a lot of consideration in using your strength...
And the last is that... whether she lost once to him doesn't mean that she will keep on losing to him...
I hope that is a bit clearer in how I made my characters... In case some of you are also wondering ^_^
***END OF AUTHOR'S NOTE***
"They changed," Luna commented.
He slowly explained to her what Spencer had explained to the other two about the expansion of one's core.
This was a risky way of expanding one's core. Most of the time, it will only be until you feel full in your core before stopping, then you will slowly use your ability but keep your core full of mana. That is how it will slowly increase its capacity.
This is the same concept as slowly increasing the mass of your muscles in your body through weight lifting. While the current process they are trying is the same as taking a medicine that will instantly buff you up.
"Okay," Florence readily agreed.
Richard frowned slightly, "You are not asking about the risk."
"You would not suggest it if I will end up being injured using it. If ever you will be there to help me before I receive injuries from doing it."
Richard pursed his lips and remained silent.
