Hayley Marshall had come to New Orleans to find her family. Instead she got herself in a fix.
The witches were keeping her captive in New Orleans, when they found out she was pregnant with a miracle baby.
Still, she managed to find her family, and what she found wasn't exactly something she had expected.
She had a sister.
From a diary she had found left on her doorstep in the cabin in the Bayou.
It utterly shocked her as she saw what she saw. She rushed to the only witch she knew, and she knew all she needed was a locator spell.
Hayley Marshall was standing in the Witches' Cemetery, a diary in her hands.
"What is this?" She put it in front of Sophie Devraux.
"Your family lineage?" Sophie shrugged softly.
"Yes!" Hayley said exasperatedly. "Don't you think I know that?"
"Then, what is the problem?" Sophie asked.
"Who is this?" Hayley pointed to a name.
Sophie looked at the diary, it was old, almost twenty three years old.
"Andrea Elizabeth Labonair."
"That's me." Hayley looked at her, "Jackson told me, I was named Andrea."
"So, what is the problem?" Sophie was losing patience.
"Who is this?" Hayley repeated, pointing to a name just about hers. "Charlotte Victoria Labonair."
Same date of Birth.
Same Parents.
Same Lineage.
"Is she my twin?" Hayley asked her. "Is she my twin? My sister?"
"I don't know…" Sophie sighed, she put the book down on the table.
Suddenly, she remembered something, she opened the cupboard, she was taking out things.
"What are you doing?" Hayley asked.
"I think….I remember something about being two of you." Sophie told her, "From the elders…."
Hayley sat down.
"Got it!"
Sophie pulled out a small box, she opened it, and started to pull out parchments.
"This is it." She showed it to Hayley.
"What is it?"
"It is a prophecy." Sophie replied, "A prediction to the future...." She said, as Hayley looked confused.
"Go on…" She told her. "Open it."
Hayley unfolded the paper softly, it was burnt from the edges.
"The Labonair Sisters, once bonded together, will take back the city, and Wolf Superiority will be restored."
Hayley read it.
"So, where is she?" She asked Sophie. "Where is my sister?"
"I don't know…" Sophie scratched her face, "The vampires might have attacked the wolves on this prophecy…..Maybe she was killed."
Hayley shook her head,
"No..I didn't come over here for you to tell me that my family is dead."
Sophie sat down in front of her.
"Do something!" Hayley almost shouted at her.
"I can't do magic!" Sophie shouted back.
"I am going to find her myself!" Hayley took the book from her hands, and rushed outside.
"These prophecies aren't always true!" Deveraux shouted, but how could she stop Hayley when she had given her one thing Hayley had always wanted!
Family.
Hayley showed the diary to Jackson's grandmother, Mary.
"Who is Charlotte?" Hayley was desperate to cling to the hope that her only family might still be alive.
"Your mom and dad had the most beautiful twins years ago."
She prompted Hayley to sit down, she sat down.
"Fraternal twins, Andrea….You were just like your dad, black haired, green eyes, sharp and beautiful."
She smiled,
"And Charlotte, she looked just like your mom, Victoria."
Mary told her.
"Blonde, eyes deeper than the ocean." Mary told her, "But when they were attacked, only you were left in the crib…..when we found you."
"So, where is she?" Hayley asked her. "She's not dead...is she?"
"I don't know, Hayley." She told Hayley. "Nobody knows."
"I have to know!"
"All we need is a locator spell!" Mary told her. "But they can't do magic in the Quarter."
"I'll find her, I don't care." Hayley said, determined. "We have been trying to find you two for a long time." Mary told her, "After twenty six years, we got one of you, and I don't think we can wait for her to come back."
"We don't have to wait, because I am going to find her."
Mary smiled, as Hayley walked out of the Bayou.
"I waited twenty six years for my family!" She told Mary, "I am not giving up for my sister."
Her determination was like a relief for her. She had lost faith in the prophecy years ago.
She walked out of the Bayou,
"I know you are looking for your sister." Marcel Gerard cornered her, "I know what the prophecy says, but…."
"But, what…..?" Hayley asked.
"Do you know where she is?"
"But, I have to keep it safe….The city." Marcel told her.
She scoffed,
"Killing wolves and witches." She laughed in his face, "Is keeping it safe!"
She shook her head,
"I am sorry...But, I can't!"
She shook her head exasperatedly.
"Then why mention her at all when you wouldn't tell me anything?" She demanded.
"I want you to know that she's fine." He told her, "She's safe. I am the one who took you two out before the fight started, and I made sure she was safe."
"But where?" She asked,
"I sent her away, safely….Not a scratch. I promise." He told her, "But, I can't tell you where she is. I am sorry, Hayley!"
He left.
Hayley was a little glad to know that her sister was fine, and she was alive.
She showed her diary to the one person who would do something about it.
Elijah.
"I'll find her." Elijah told her, "I promise."
"How?"
"A vile of your blood, and a witch." Elijah explained. "I promise, I will come back from Mystic Falls in a week, with your sister."
"Promise?"
She held his hands,
"I promise." He kissed her on the head. "You have my word, Hayley."
She smiled.
"Thank you…"
