Yao Boqin is a cat working as a waiter at Knock, Knock. He's only doing it to earn a few fish. As in, food. He lives next door to a crocodile, Gun Sang-won. And under him is a poodle, Johnathan Deleon.

His landlord, a horrible pig Liling Yi. She seems to be targeting Yao for nothing. His rent goes up any time she's frustrated. She makes life unbearable for him, she's so annoying yelling at him all the time.

Luckily, a sweet bunny he works with makes his day. Fu Meixiu is a waitress. She seems happy-go-lucky, a head on her shoulders. They have a good relationship, but then Fu comes to work with bruises. Yao knows Fu has a boyfriend, a weird one at that. A bull, Keith Donald. One day he shows up with a Snake friend. Fu isn't trying to hang out with her boyfriend and begs Yao to cover for her. But that ends real... ugly.
