章 94: Chapter 95: Information and Advancement
Alexander woke up and after freshening up arrived back at the containment centre. Alexander observed that everyone looked quite uncomfortable and were standing against the wall of the camp. Alexander with his enhanced senses, was able to screams of pain and lot of creepy laughs coming from the containment centers. Alexander just shook his head and spoke out loud, "Enough!! Have they submitted?"
A cloaked man appeared and said, " The youngest one and another have agreed to submit but they want to see you, Your Highness. I am correcting this thought of theirs and this will take a few hours but they will submit."
Alexander replied, " We don't know the full extent of cultivator's power. What if someone can see their memories? I cannot appear before the masses yet. One more thing, ask them if any Huang Clan exists or not."
The cloaked nodded and disappeared. After a few moments he reappeared and said, " They are saying that they don't know about any Huang Clan. They also said that they don't belong to that clan but they will help us in finding them. They also told us that a Lu clan exists and governs them."
Alexander replied, " If Luo Clan exists then Huang Clan also exists as they were established within the same time frame. We have scouted 3,000 kilometers in radius so Huang Clan should be within our range. Examine the images, Huang Clan Manor was build in the foothills. Search to the images. Also ask them, for how many years, Luo Clan has governance over them?"
The man disappeared again and appeared after a few moments, " They are saying that Luo Clan had been governing them for 50 years."
Alexander smiled and said, " So we have maximum 150 years before the protagnist of this world gets born. The Deities Templar is not in existence, that means that Yang Tian has not arrived in Martial Spirit World yet or he is currently laying down the foundation for his sect. So many opportunities are present to us right now. Make them submit. I will be meditating till then."
It took half an hour for the two to submit. Alexander peered into their minds and and came to know about some facts which were not covered in the novel. Each village had governance over 4 settlements. They in turn were governed by towns. The towns were governed by the ruling clan. The clans were at the head of this small pyramid. Each village's center was inscribed with a mysterious formation which was only known to higher officials of the kingdom. The formation was inscribed when the village was registered with the ruling town. A fee was charged by kingdom officials per child to conduct the awakening ceremony. The villages generally choose the strongest children to undergo the awakening ceremony.
The age of awakening was not 7 years. A person can be awakened at anytime but 7 years was considered the best starting age for cultivation. Only the rich, powerful and resourceful people were able to afford the awakening of their children at seven years of age as it required considerable amount of energy to kickstart the formation, which was either supplied by a powerful cultivator or by using spirit stones. The weaker section of the society generally attended the general awakening which was conducted at a interval of 5 years throughout the kingdom.
Alexander then send the new subjects to the Gene labs. The Gene labs were the labs which were constructed to understand and study the genetic makeup of the various beings that the kingdom's forces would encounter in the vast omniverse. Alexander wanted to know if there was some difference on a genetic level which gave the cultivators better physique than normal humans. The Gene labs were headed by Kamonians. Alexander had authorised the use of time ritual to find an answer to this.
A Kamonian magus shifted in front of Alexander after an hour and bowed. It was quite an expreience to see such a long necked being bowing. Alexander asked, " What have you found?"
The Kamonian spoke in a low voice, " The genes of these cultivators are same as normal humans except the genes related to body density. These genes are more developed than compared to normal human beings. A fully grown adult male of this world without cultivation is ten times stronger and sturdier than a normal human being. We have started to develop a genetic fluid that would replicate these effects and make the members of all the humanoid species in the kingdom regardless of gender or age similar to this world's humans.... We humbly request, Your Highness, for prolonged use of time ritual."
Alexander asked in a serious tone, "What are the side effects? Will one genetic fluid be applicable for all the species?"
The Kamonian replied, " No, Your Majesty, we will need to develop a new type for each species. As for side effects, we have theorised that the subjects would feel intense pain and burning sensation all over their bodies. The research is still in progress."
Alexander continued, " What if the effect of genetic fluid is delayed? What I mean to say that instead of changing the genes in one go, can the change be prolonged in order to reduce the side effects. What effect it would have on advancement of magus? These questions need to be answered. I authorize the use of time ritual." The Kamonian bowed and shifted away.
Alexander spoke out, " Make the rest submit. I am going to secure our base." Alexander stepped out of the realm gate and conquered the whole hill and and all the land within the radius of 10 kilometres as a part of his kingdom. Alexander thought, " It's time to complete one thing that I have been neglecting for so many centuries, the integration of the elemental cores and my body."
Alexander had formed his solid elemental cores in the Harry Potter world but was not able to find the time to integrate the elements as he was quite concerned with the advancement of his magic cells and frankly, he had no need of such integration in previous worlds but in this world, this would give him an edge over a majority of cultivators. Alexander ordered the release of the captives after they submitted to him and shifted to a underground lava cavern. Alexander also informed them about his advancement session and ordered them to stay vigilant.
Alexander concentrated on the fire and earth elemental cores and through them tried to sense the fire and earth elemental particles. Alexander was easily able to sense them and speedily pulled them inside the cores. Alexander did not know how much time had gone in advancing both of his solid elemental cores to crystal stage. Alexander didn't waste time and shifted to the peak of a mountain where strong winds were blowing. Alexander then concentrated on the wind elemental particles but found that it was very difficult to catch the wind particles. Alexander used his magic to control the wind and stop the wind elemental particles from escaping. Alexander absorbed all the particles he managed to stop and then repeated the process. After the wind elemental core advanced to crystal stage, Alexander shifted to the seashore.
Alexander casted a bubblehead charm on himself, transformed himself to his dragon form and drove inside the sea. Alexander reached the seabed and started to absorb water elemental particles from the sea. The fire elemental core started to resist absorbtion of the water elemental particles so Alexander had to divide his attention between the controlling the fire core and absorbing the water elemental particles. Alexander was completely focused on his advancement and didn't pay attention to the curious marine life which slowly started gathering around him. Soon, the fishes lost their curiousity and left Alexander alone. Alexander advanced his water elemental core to crystal stage and shifted to an underground metal mine.
Alexander came to know that only heavy presence of metal was required to generate the metal elemental particles. The type of metal didn't matter. Alexander continued with his advancement and soon converted the metal elemental core to crystal stage. Alexander let out a deep breath and thought, " Now, begins the integration."
Alexander continued to absorb the metal elemental particles from the surroundings and soon started to feel that his core was at his limits. Alexander didn't stop and continued the procedure soon the core started to crack and after some time exploded. The metallic energy started to wreak havoc in his body and started destroying his cells. Alexander felt as if he was being cut by thousands of blades. Alexander directed his magic to cover all the cells of his body and left only the bones for the energy's rampage. Alexander felt as if his bones were being struck repeatedly by a very strong hammer.
Alexander employed his soul arts to block out the pain. Alexander entered a semi-lucid state. Alexander didn't know for how long he remained in that state but when he regained his bearings, he found that his bones had undergone a massive change. Alexander felt that his bones were a lot stronger than before. Alexander didn't try to estimate his new strength and shifted to the seashore.
This time, Alexander didn't enter the sea and started gathering particles from the seashore. Alexander was following the reverse sequence in his integration. Alexander repeated the same procedure with the water elemental core but this time he didn't stop the water elemental energy cells from wreaking havoc on his body as he didn't know which aspect of his body, the water element was supposed to enhance. Alexander felt like he was drowning while simultaneously feeling a massive pressure. It took all of Alexander's efforts to remain concious during the process.
Alexander let out a sigh of relief as the feeling of drowning and under extreme pressure vanished. He was feeling very tired. When Alexander was completely recovered, he felt his mind was working at a fast pace, many things and options he had not considered before, were now coming to him. Alexander thought, " The water element increased the flexibility of my mind. Several new ideas are coming to me, which can be very useful for me and my conquest plan. But, if this integration was connected to mind then why was my body affected. No!!! Let me check my body first....My body is showing no signs of damage or self-healing. This means that my body was not harmed but my mind was placed under duress."
Alexander shifted to a cavern inside a tall mountain and started his next integration there. This time Alexander felt as if every inch of his body was being cut with several tiny blades. Alexander used his magic to heal the damage done to his body. After a few hours, the pain stopped and Alexander completely healed himself. Alexander rested for the night and in morning, he examined his body. Alexander felt as if his body had grown light by several folds and also had become more flexible. Alexander ran and performed several gymnastic poses and exercises to check the flexibility of his body. Alexander was astonished that he easily did all the exercises and his speed has also increased by several folds. Alexander theorised that the wind element increased the nimbleness of his body.
Alexander experienced bone crushing pressure during the integration of earth element and felt as if was being cooked from inside out during the integration of fire element. The earth element increased the toughness of his flesh and skin while the fire element increased the digestive power and resistive power of his body. Alexander let out a sigh after complete integration of the elements and shifted to his suite for a long over due rest.
