Well Author you should have given the title PUBG touch down 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣😂🤣😁🤣😂😃😁🤣😁🤣😁🤣🤣😉😃😃😂😃😃😁😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😂😃😃🤣🤣😁😁🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😊🤣😊🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣
Initial Impressions~ The novel starts off with a short flashback in the form of a dream where he was once a professional "CSGO" player in the finals of a major competition. The noteworthy point of the flashback is the "black-mask" he wears during the competition with his identity hidden from others similar to the actions of a professional Hearthstone player/streamer named "DisguiseToast". The "black-mask" can be seen from the cover art of the novel. The world is made to be as realistic as possible although not sure if that is going to change in the later chapters. The main character is equipped with a higher level of gaming skills (maybe overpowered) where he acquired but have to quit from a game in the past due to some reason. I do get a "King's Avatar" Vibe from this starting point. However, the MC personality wise is more of a lesser-jerk who have a sister-complex and may potentially be interested in little girls. Basically, his relationship with his younger stepsister turn sour when he mistreated her early on so he tries to mend the relationship in an invasive manner. The author probably wrote a flawed MC so that he can be corrected in future development and the MC is not all that terrible in attitude to make you despise him. The character development in the novel is well done because we can fully imagine how the appearance of the MC looks like and his traits. Moreover, the side characters does have a brief colorful description of themselves so their interactions with the MC will be more realistic. The author really focuses his attention on the character development. The author would throw-in frequent Japanese terms/culture in the story such as loli, anime and oni-chan as well as plenty of swearing in the MC's monologue. The novel do not use the "stuck in virtual game" or the "I have a problem so I need the game to earn money solo" trope so there would be a heavy mix of real lifestyle and gaming on PC with other real players commenting from the sidelines instead. The novel is highly immersive in the world of "PUBG" and it is advisable you know the game mechanics beforehand like the type of guns and landing phase to fully enjoy the action. The author have written in the way that stay true to how a "PUBG" match is played and the novel would likely be the 'truest' gaming novel here in QIDIAN. Translators does have a good reputation of providing high quality reads while conveying the wordplay/quotes/references the author utilize. Overall, I recommend you give the novel a try unless you dislike novels that focus on one match for too long or the slower story development due to heavy emphasis on the character.
i mean its readable so the translator is doing a decent job, but the only word to summerise this novel would be "Why?" dont get me wrong there are good novels that are about playing games there is even one about playing a computer game on a screen but atleast they are about some sorta super advanced new game and not ****tyass pubg...
Errr really ? Do you have to be so immersived to play a fvcking PUBG? Its not even VR game lol , the author makes a "Try Hard" MC to be a godlike player LMAO Dude if you want to watch good PUBG player just watch shroud lol This novel nothing but trash thats it
My review/reaction: When a author wants to write a unique story but he rans out of ideas lmao😂 Just fuckin play the game than read somebody paying it 😆 Wtf, authors nowadays are so not “unique” and “innovative” lol especially from China lol, they ran out of things to write
Unbelivable that they honestly block reviews. Since quidian doesnt seem to want people to read honest reviews. lets see... This novel is sooooo good. Best one ever. Yes i love it. Nothing better than this novel. So innovative. Great characters. Amazing world background... (Anything else quidian? What? Fantastic character development? The story keeps you desperately waiting for more? But, but that's- ... Yes quidian.) So as i was saying, this gem has fantastic character development and the story keeps you desperately waiting for more! (Hope that's good? All hail quidian? ...Yes) All hail quidian!
MC seems to be a creepy sis/loli con while also being a bit of a dick, typical no one around him knows he is a God at video games (was a pro at some point) and all of a sudden now he is ok with them seeing him do well while he plays it down as though it isnt hard. Seems to be a cookie cutter MC is stupid good at games book with a sis/loli attachment added in. Just weird and kinda creepy.
ネタバレを明かすGoddamnit, I only read the first 3 or 4 chapters and this **** is absolute Shit! I'm not interested in reading PUBG! This is disgusting. Dndjsksndkdnajdbsidbwkcndiahtheurbwocnaoviebguabvosbcjsjdc
I don't like it. They really get get immersed in this game, to the point that they are cursing at the computer screen asking others to avenge them. The author tries to make it sound like their characters are actually them for dramatic *******, but at least for me, it doesn't work when you know it is just a game. If the foreshadow at start is anything to go by this is going to be a semi generic video game web novel. MC will get rich and popular off of this game.
Shouldn't have expected much but geez I was disappointed, thought it'd be like TKA but it's not. Gameplay is lackluster with the peanut gallery taking up most of the chapters saying he's so good and impossible etc. Characters are even more lackluster, we have an annoying MC that won't leave his sister alone and is noisy. Sister is probably a Tsundere(I could be wrong) I guess people who think this is 5 stars must have been ruined by MTL that made them unable to properly judge a novel.
I usually love reading novels about games but not this one. I dont know how you can immerse yourself in a game like pubg. It would have been better if the author made the game a fps vrmmo version.
Common story with overused elements. Only using the hype of the game pubg to get people to read it. Pathetic to say the least, story is bland, with terrible worldbuilding. Characters have one dimensional personalities that make people wonder if they even have a brain.
Uhhh finally it's out!!! Been waiting for soooo long. So, to end this review: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Captivating. Haven't read anything that could get me this excited before. The author seems to have quite a bit of knowledge on gaming and uses it to make this interesting while at the same time drawing a line between reality and games. The fact that Liu's relationship with his sister is awkward and difficult for him shows that skills in games doesn't always count for real life interactions. Reading this made me itch to play PUBG now. But I suck at it.
I love this type of novel but this one is meh, Tsamina mina, eh eh. Waka waka, eh eh. Tsamina mina zangalewa. Anawa a a. Tsamina mina, eh eh. Waka waka, eh eh.
I bet he use cheat like the reality. Khu khu khu khu khu khu khu khu khu..... Anyone agree? Some people : We Agree! Warning : i just want to fulfill the 140 words challange.
