章 8: Chapter 8
(three months time skip) - Hei POV
The war has started, and my father has made a deal using the CFR--Rules to make Atlas and vacuo not interfere in the fight, but I know the truth of how all this started now. I didn't want to believe it at first, but I guess I don't know my father anymore really hope it was all a lie that day change everything.
(flashback two months ago)
Father has left Vale with his most trusted man; expect Ichigo to attend the CFR meeting in Atlas, which leaves me in full control of Vale. At least that's what everyone thinks, but I know most of the leaders respect Ichigo's decision more than mine.
"You shouldn't think like that, young Lord."
Hei was completely thrown off his feet by the sound of someone speaking to him from behind him.
"Who's there!?"
"There's no need to be scared, Young Lord; I have come here to inform you of something."
"Well, could you please use the door next time?"
"Sadly, I can't let other people see me. You will understand once I tell you."
'What could make ichigo suddenly come here alone without anyone seeing him, is that he tryi-ng to kill me."
"Young Lord, I'm not here to kill you. Could you please stop thinking that?"
"Huh? How do you know what I'm thinking about?"
*Sigh*
"Young Lord, it's all over your face. You should try to hide your emotions better, like your father does."
"Okay, I get that if you are not trying to kill me, then why are you here? Also, thanks for the cigars.
"You're welcome, young Lord, but the thing about why I gave them to you is because you are going to need them after our talk today, as what I'm going to tell you is the truth about the death of your mother."
Hei faces went from confusion to anger to sadness. "Ichigo you better watch what you say today, because if I find you lying to me, I will make sure you suffer so much you are going to beg me to kill you," hei responded to Ichigo in a cold tone, making the tension in the room go extremely high.
"I swear that everything I have come to tell you is the truth."
hei looked into Ichigo's eyes without even flinching, just letting the silence in the room stay. It was only after a few minutes that hei said, "Continue."
"Your father killed your mother and blamed it on the falcone family, he di…"
Before Ichigo could continue his statement, Hei picked up his gun, pointed it at the head of Ichigo and started speaking in a cold tone, releasing killing intent with every word he spoke.
"LIES, Ichigo, stop lying to me; my father would NEVER kill my MOTHER, so you better start writing your fucking will, because I'm about to fucking kill you."
All that Hei saw when he looked into ichigo's eyes was sadness, making Hei second-guess why would Ichigo say this and why he would lie to him, and all he could think about was that he was trying to turn him against his father, but before he could say something, Ichigo butted his forehead against the barrel of hei gun and looked at Hei in the eyes.
"I'm not lying to you, Hei I just can't keep working for him; I just can't keep this up. Do you even know your father? hei do you think you know him? Tell me, do you even know how many people die thanks to him in a month? Hei tell me, do you know how he even runs his businesses?"
