We settled into the four-post bed in the room Gregory had shown us to. The room was enormous. The bed was draped with sheer curtains just like you'd think a fairy tale princess would sleep in. There were two matching nightstands that could have been made from a dark wood, I wasn't sure what kind. Two old Victorian style lamps stood on top of them. A large armoire was to the right with a dresser that matched the nightstands. This room was a model for an old movie scene straight out of Gone with the Wind. In fact, it may just have been the exact same bed and furniture from Scarlet O'Hara's bedroom.
"Can you believe we are staying in a place like this?!" Aj did a twirl and dropped backwards onto the large bed. It bounced and started squeaking.
"It's a bit noisy..." I scowled.
"Why Violet Rowley-Davis, why would the squeakiness of the bed matter, do you plan on taking advantage of me?" Aj rolled on her side and placed her head on her hand seductively.
I couldn't help but laugh and I walked over to the bed, and I plopped down next to her, the squeaky sound came back. "Even if I wanted to this bed would never allow it." I leaned over and kissed her. The kiss grew more passionate and soon we were lying next to each other still embracing in the kiss.
Aj pulled slowly away her eyes still closed. "I could figure out a way to pleasure you without the bed making a sound."
"That wouldn't be much fun, would it?" I asked and continued the kiss. I could feel her hand sliding down my hips and around to the front of my pants. The anticipation was killing me, and I could feel myself getting wet. Then a knock on the door interrupted us.
Aj let go for just a second and said through gritted teeth, "Just ignore it. Please. Pretend we are asleep."
At first, I did, we continued our make out session and Aj's hand went into my pants, and I could feel her fingers slid into me. I muffled a moan. Another knock, and then a monotone female voice.
"Ma'ams, the doctor would like to see you both in the drawing room, again please."
She quickly pulled her hand out and fell back onto the bed with a loud sigh. "Thanks, Lydia! We will be right down." Her irritated tone was obvious as she slapped her hands on the bed like a protesting teenager.
"You go ahead, I'm going to have to change my pants." I said as I stood up and made my way over to our suitcase.
Aj sighed again. "Not only do I not get to play with my wife, now I have to go deal with Gregory dream stalker by myself. Life is so unfair."
"Oh quit being dramatic!" I giggled and gave her another kiss, and she stomped out of the room with a 'hmph'.
Earlier in the day after our conversation, Gregory had offered to let us stay with him for the meantime, so it'd be easier for all of us to figure out our game plan. I called Zack and like the five-star assistant he was he was able to have a suitcase packed and even brought our little Edgar. Who seemed to be enjoying all the exploring he could do in this enormous space. I wasn't even sure where he was, but I knew he had to be close, he was a momma's boy and was never far from me.
I pulled out a clean pair of underwear and some pajama pants with skulls on them. I figured I might as well get comfortable since we'd probably be up all night trying to figure out what we are supposed to do, having pretty much only one lead. I pulled the second pant leg on and suddenly I felt dizzy. My vision began to blur, and I stumbled against the dresser knocking over a decorative ashtray that sat on the top. The last thing I heard was a large crash and I felt the cold floor under my cheek.
