章 45: Chapter 43(Changed): End Of An Era.
Seeing the symbol of peace being humiliated like that made some of the more emotional heroes run out of Kurokai's barrier to save him.
Unfortunately, it was all but a useless effort.
"Arhh!"
But it was all wasted effort, as soon as they left the barrier they were ignited in flame.
Kurokai waved his hand and silently pulled them back in.
Throughout the entire process, Mechamaru kept his feet resting on top of All Might's face, he simply stood there blatantly challenging the order of society.
"No way.....All Might really lost?...."
A man in office clothes said in an unbelievable voice.
His gaze inadvertently went toward the nightly golden statue of Symbol Of Peace.
That unbreakable back, that unfaltering smile...he grew up seeing them from a kid to an adult.....but now...
His gaze went back to the large screen showing All Might's defeated figure.
Is it going to change?.....
The bubble in his mind suddenly burst.
No way no way....
A feeling of panic spread throughout the crowd.
Will All Might really lose? Is it possible? how? why? All Might?
Are you really going to be defeated like that?
"No...All Might stand up!"
The office worker's voice was like a spark that ignited the fire.
"Yes please stand up!"
"Stand up All Might!"
"You can do it!"
"Please win!"
"Beat the villain!"
The crowd started shouting at the top of their lungs.
And as if their voice was reaching him, All Might's body started shaking, he grabbed Mechamaru's leg and slowly started lifting it up.
"Yes! That's it All Might! beat him!"
But in the next moment, Mechamaru put pressure on his leg easily countering All Might's little resistance and slamming his feet on his face sending him unconscious.
The crowd fell silent.
The office worker who was shouting at the top of his lungs fell on his back, staring at the screen in disbelief.
Visible sparks from One For All kept erupting from Midoriya's body, if Kirishima wasn't holding him back then he would have run up to save All Might long ago.
"Midoriya it's useless! You will end up in flames too."
"No, I might not....."
"What?"
Midoriya clenched his fist, unlike other heroes only All Might was not burned up instantly, meaning in some way he was different from others.
'It must be One For All!'
He concluded in his mind, that it was the only thing that made sense.
'But....'
Midoriya's figure faltered, he always felt like Mechamaru's blue eyes were staring at him as if warning him to not do something stupid.
"Is there nothing we can do?", Best Jeanist shouted and spread out several of his threads but they all burned up as soon as they left the barrier.
Suddenly they saw Mechamaru raise his hand above his head.
Then under their horrified gaze, a miniature sun appeared above his palm.
"Turn to ash."
Mechamaru manipulated the mini sun to attack Kurokai's barrier.
Before anyone could react, the attack collided with the barrier surrounding it in flames.
*crack*
Multiple cracks spread on the barrier making the heroes hold their breath.
"Can you hold one?", Gran Torino asked in a loud voice.
Kurokai nodded and raised his hand, stopping the barrier from breaking.
Even the cracks that appeared started to mend themselves making the heroes sigh in relief.
"Then what about the next one?"
Under everyone's hopeless gaze, Mechamaru created another miniature sun.
It was over.
They all thought.
That monster could continuously send that attack.
And they had no way to retaliate.
Sighing heavily, Gran Torino turned his head towards Kurokai and said in a sad voice.
"You....take the kids and leave."
His words stunned Midoriya, Momo, Kirishima, and Shoto.
"At least you kids will survive."
None of the heroes objected to his words.
In fact, some of them even stood up, ready to use their lives and allow the students a chance to escape.
Endeavour was the first, with his arms crossed in front of his chest he covered for Shoto and his friends.
Todoroki's eyes trembled, he bit down on his lip seeing his father who he hated so much standing in front to protect him without a second thought.
'If you really hated your father then you wouldn't care at all...'
Kurokia's words rang out loudly in his mind.
'It seems you were right after all.....'
In the moment of certain death, people drop their fake facade and become true to themselves.
'Even after all you did.....I could never bring myself to truly hate you...dad....'
Todoroki wiped away the tear that was sliding down his eyes.
Then suddenly, a voice reached everyone's ears.
"It's coming."
Gran Torino was taken aback and asked Kurokai in a hesitant voice.
"What's coming?....."
Kurokai smiled and pointed his finger at the sky.
"A little help from above."
And as soon as he finished speaking.
*Crack*
Mechamaru's domain broke down.
Showing the figure of a giant meteoroid rushing towards him.
"What?"
In a moment of carelessness, Mechamaru revealed a flaw, with quick movement, Kurokai used his power to instantly pull All Might towards him.
"This...", Everyone was stunned by the sudden turn of events.
"It's useless."
But Mechamaru's cold voice brought them out of their reverie.
As soon as he finished speaking, the entire meteoroid was lit ablaze.
Seeing the scene Kurokai raised his hand and clenched his fist.
Under his control, the meteoroid split up into several small pieces, rushing towards Mechamaru.
It happened so fast, that Mechamaru could only cross his hands in front of him for defense.
*Boom*
The first rock hit Mechamaru sending him flying, followed by a second then a third....
"You again?! Tornado of terror!"
Mechamaru shouted in a loud voice and a flame erupted all around him, burning the upcoming projectiles to ash.
"Die!"
The miniature sun rushed towards Kurrokai.
But it was too late.
"We're retreating."
Following Kurokai's voice, a great force was exerted on everyone lifting them at the same time and rushing towards the opening in the sky created by the meteoroid.
Mechamaru silently watched the scene, he even retracted the miniature sun that was rushing towards them.
And all of this was captured by the television crew flying in the sky using their helicopter.
"No way..."
"Heroes lost?"
This was a first in a long long time.
That someone has managed to disrupt the order of society.
"Then what now?....."
One of them asked in a hesitant voice.
Suddenly the whole crowd stood still, they saw a dark shadow flickering behind Mechamaru, it extended to form a passage.
Then under everyone's horrified gaze, they saw a leg extend out of the passage.
"My friend Mechamaru."
Shigaraki stepped out of the portal in large strides, coming beside Mechamaru, he raised his arm and wrapped it around his neck like old buddies.
"What a crazy gift you have given me."
His eyes crazily emit red light. Looking at the camera pointing towards them, he suddenly smiled, raised his hand, and waved it at them in a friendly gesture.
"There are more of them?"
A feeling of dread enveloped the crowd.
"No fair Shigaraki! you rushed up so fast leaving us behind!"
Followed by the cute voice, Toga walked out of the portal, her eyes looking everywhere in interest.
"Tsk what a mess you have created."
Dabi complained, his shoe shizzled stepping on the molten ground.
".....Even All Might was not a real hero."
Spinner said in a sad voice, his eyes looking at Mechamaru in confusion.
"Oh Oh, what a wonderful play it was!"
Mr Compass bowed towards the camera.
"Damn, it's all burned up!"
Magne retorted loudly.
"Hey hey hey Mechamaru you just defeated the symbol of peace!"
Lastly twice jumped out and shouted in a loud voice giving Mechamaru a large thumbs up.
All of them stood beside each other, centered around Mechamaru.
And then they opened their mouths and said in a synchronized voice.
"We are the League of Villains."
Challenging the very foundation of society.

Behind them, All For One who just regained consciousness looked at the scene in a daze.
'Just what?...did I miss?'
