Aria's mother was at the bedroom. She was sitting on a chair and placed laptop on her the table. She was wearing a short transparent cotton gown and put a white head bonnet. She was attending to some company's works. She was replying to mails and checking out the documents sent to her.
Door pulled gently and her husband entering into the room. He walked closed to her, and kissed her softy. Aria's mother smiled and looked up at him.
"Well done, Love" Aria's stepfather said in cool tone. He left the place, walked to the bed and sat down gently. He was sitting opposite to Aria's mother and looking at her.
"I will want you to follow me to see the local government chairmen tomorrow. I have meeting with them, so I want you to come with me" Aria's stepfather said.
"No problem Sweetheart. That mean I will reschedule my activities for tomorrow"
"Please, do. You know you are my backbone, and it's you and God that did it to this level. So I must not joke with you" what he said touched the heart of Aria's mother. She looked up at him and smiled.
"I am your wife, and a good wife must support her husband" Aria's mother said with smiling face.
"Thank you for everything, and I love you"
"I love you more, sweetheart" Aria's mother said gently. She closed the laptop, shifted it to the back. She sat down properly on the chair, and focused on her husband.
"Love, what is that you want to say?" Aria's mother asked.
"You told me yesterday that you want to discuss something important with me. What is that or is it about those local government chairmen's meeting?"
"Not at all, it's about Aria that is in coma" he silent for a while.
"I want to suggest maybe we should tell the Doctor to switch Aria's life support machine off" Aria's stepfather said.
"Doctor should switch her life support machine off, why?" Aria's mother asked loudly and confused.
"It's two months and few weeks now that she has been there and she hasn't awake. And if you look at the current situation on ground, we are spending money on election and at the same time we are spending money on her. The amount of money we are spending out is more than what is coming in"
"Look now, if you calculate the money you are sending to the hospital per week, it is huge. And also the money we are spending on this election"
"But that hasn't been enough reason for me to tell the Doctor to switch her life support machine off. Switch the machine off is like you want to kill the person" Aria's mother said loudly.
"Love, listen to me and get me right. The child in coma, there is no hundred percent assurances that she will wake up back alive. So what of if we spend the money and she doesn't make it at the end? That is lost and exactly to this elections too" he took a breaths.
"Now if we have spent millions and she doesn't make it and the elections too we don't win. You see that is two lost and money wasted. So what I am saying in short is that, let minimize the lost. The thousands we are paying for the hospital, will be used for another purpose"
"Aria in question is my daughter too and I love her. The person in coma is like dead person. Even we have taken heart and we have accepted that she is dead ever before now" Aria's mother silent, thinking to all what he said.
"Remember that some people use to wake up as the Doctors off the life support machine. So Aria can be lucky too"
"I understand your point well, I will think about it because it's my child we are talking about here" Aria's mother said gently.
"She is my daughter too, and I love her you know that. We just have to accept fate" Aria's father said.
"Anything that is 50/50 chance, you just have to give up on it. So sweetheart, let's do that and even to help Aria's spirit too" he said in cool tone.
"I will think about it this night, and call the doctor tomorrow—"her phone started ringing and also heard the knock at the door.
"Come in" Aria's stepfather said to the person at the door while Aria's mother picked the call.
"Well done Sir and Ma" Zona greeted them as she entered into the room. She was holding a small tray.
"Here is the juice you called for Ma" she put the tray down on the table. She turned back and leaving the room.
She stopped walking as she got to the door. She turned her head backward and looked at two of them with terrible look. Zona overheard everything they were saying. She opened the door gently and left the room.
"Hey! Haa" Zona shouted loudly as she came out from the room. She was sad and felt disturbed.
"What of if Aria doesn't wake up as the Doctor switch off the machine? And now I don't have the capacity to continue paying the money" Zona said loudly and she had started crying.
"What can I do? Aria must not die" Zona started running down from the staircases, going downstairs. She was disturbed, didn't even know what to do.

"Love, please help me on the television. The remote control is beside you" Aria's mother as she hugged up from the call.
"There is news I must watch" Aria's stepfather took the remotes on the bed and on the television. Aria's mother concentrated.
'This is us from Our Nation station. We are at PPY party chairman's office. It's Mr. Sani Yahaya that called on us and some other press and reporters too. We haven't known what he wants to say, but we are waiting for him' a young lady said. She was holding microphone and standing at the front of cameral.
'We are on live, so stay turn and stay connected with us' it was Shadow that called Aria's mother and told her that Mr. Sani Yahaya had wanted to do as they said.
"Sir, are you already to talk now" one of the reporters asked Mr. Sani Yahaya. They were capturing every movement, so it was everything they were doing there that people at home are watching.
"Yes" Mr. Sani Yahaya said. The press and reporters surrounded him. They putting different microphones at his mouth. The party chairman too was standing beside Mr. Sani Yahaya.
"I told you that it's my opponents that are behind what happened at my daughter's wedding. Now they have proved it that they are the one" Mr. Sani Yahaya silent for a while.
"I don't know whoever it's, but I want to use this movement to tell you that I am not stepping down"
"I AM NOT STEPPING DOWN FOR ANYONE" Aria's mother looked changed as she heard that.
"I want you to know that there is nothing you can do again. Whoever is behind this, there is nothing you can do again" Mr. Sani Yahaya said loudly.
"I am going to continue with this game and I will win. There is no one that can let me step down" Mr. Sani Yahaya silent, looked at the party chairman.
"The campaign I have tomorrow is still holding. My people join me there. Thank you all" He said and wanted to be leaving.
"Sir, we have questions to ask you? Wait and listen to us" the press and reporters following him. The party Chairman walked to the front, facing the press.
"That is what we called you guys here for, so no time for any questions and answers. You can take your leave now, thank you" the man said. Mr. Sani Yahaya's bodyguards encircled him and taking him out from the room.
"This man is a pain in my ass" Aria's stepfather said loudly.
"If he steps down now, it's sure that I have won this election. But with this now, it's tight"
"I have told you several times that it's you that will win this election. So calm down" Aria's mother said loudly.
"He refused to step down gently now, and then he will step down by force" Aria's mother said silently. She carried the juice that Zona brought for her and drinking it.

"Aria, that girl you called Zona is at the hospital now. I overheard her saying and crying that your mother has wanted to switch off your life support machine" Aria's friend said loudly and on call with Aria.
"WHAT?" Aria said loudly.
"What are we going to do? If they switch it off you may die"
"Henry, I am going to die" Aria said loudly as her friend was talking.

"Love, I don't like the post you gave Ethan at the company. I want you to make him the CEO" Henry's stepmother said.
"So what will happen to Henry that has already been the CEO?" Henry's father asked in loud voice.
"Switch it, Ethan should be the CEO and Henry should be the head of the department that Ethan is. How is that difficult?" She said loudly and franked her face.
