章 16: CHAPTER 16

Henry, Aria and his father arrived to the company, all of them got down from the car and going inside. The door opened for them and walking inside, Henry's father was the one at the front and Aria and Henry were walking behind him.
Since there was nothing Aria could be doing at home that was why she forced herself to follow him.
The secretary quickly came out from her office, greeted Henry's father and following them to the meeting room. Aria was looking round the environment and loved what she was seeing.
They got to the meeting room after few minutes; the secretary opened the door and Henry's father entered into the room. Henry collected the door from Secretary told her to go in, and she did. After the secretary had entered, Aria used that opportunity to enter and that was when Henry now entered. Aria sat down a chair beside Henry and beside each others.
"Good morning everyone" Henry's father greeted the board of Directors, and it was all of them had been on seat. Henry's father sat down on a chair at Henry's right hand and facing the Directors.
"Thanks to everyone for being here, so let's start---"Henry's father said and wanted to start talking while his phone started ringing. He brought the phone out from the pocket and saw that it was the commissioner of police calling.
"Excused me please" he said with gentle voice, and got up. He walked to the window side, and picked the call.
"Hello Sir, I have told my boys to take the car to your house. I will call you when they have dropped it Sir" The man said.
"Oh thank you and please tell them not to drop the key. I will collect it from you when we meet"
'Alright Sir, I will" Henry's father hanged up from the call, and leaving the window side. He returned back to his seat, sat down back and faced them.
"Sorry for that" he showed his apology.
"So as I have said on virtual meeting, this is my son Henry that I told you about" His father said and as he touched Henry's shoulder.
"And as I have said also he is the one I will be appointing as the new CEO of this company, and he is the one that is going to take over my position from now on" Henry looked at his father as he said so, and he was so shocked.
"Henry is now the new CEO, he is going to resume tomorrow" Aria looked at Henry's face, and saw that he was really surprised and couldn't believe it.
"So please, support him, and work with him as you used to do when I was there" his father said and with smiles.
"Congratulations Henry, and welcome as the new CEO" the board of Directors started greeting him and having handshakes. Henry quickly changed the look, and greeting them with smiles on his face.
"Follow me, and let me show you your office son" His father said and leaving the meeting room. Henry followed his father, and left the room. He and Aria were walking beside each other and on the same line.
"I can see that you're shocked, you don't expect it?" Aria asked him.
"Yes, I don't even think of the CEO'S post at all" Henry replied with low voice, and Aria giggled.
"Be happy and don't be shook" Aria said with loud voice, and walked to the front. They got to the CEO's office after some minutes, and Aria was the first person to enter as Henry's father opened the door.
"Wow! This office is so beautiful" Aria said with loud voice, and as she was walking round.
"Welcome to your new office son and the new CEO in town" Henry's father said, and Henry giggled.
"Thank you very much Daddy, but I am not expecting the post of CEO" Henry said with low voice.
"And which post are you expecting me to give my son in my own company---"
"The CEO'S post of course and this office is super awesome" Aria said with loud voice as Henry's father was talking. She walked to Henry's seat and sat down on it. Henry looked at her with a look and quickly faced his father.
"Thank you Daddy, and I am happy" Henry said with low voice and really appreciate it.
"You're welcome son, the company is in your hand now so manage it well" Henry shook his head, and looking round the office.
"Tomorrow you will resume to your office, so now let's start going home" his father said and he didn't plan to stay long.
"Alright Sir" Aria looked at the office again, and going after them. Three of them left the office and sound of the door closed by Henry.

The man who was a prisoner entered into a room with the warder that went to bring him. He met the party chairman there sitting at the front of the man who was the head of the warders in that prison. He looked at the old man for few minutes, and faced the head of the warders.
"Mr. Tee, order had come from the top that we should release you and its chairman here that did it. So I am glad to tell you that you have been set free" the man said with smiling face.
"Ah! So it can be you that locked me in here that will release me again" the man called Mr. Tee said with loud voice, and as he was looking at the chairman with bad look.
"And do you want to go back in there? Or glad that I released you" The party chairman said with arrogance. Mr. Tee looked up at him as he said so and chuckled.
"Yes you should be appreciative, are you not supposed to be here still death? So you don't suppose to utter that statement out except if you want to go back in there" The chairman said.
"Warder, take me back" "When you have known how to talk and ready to apologize for your deeds, come back for me" the man said with pride, turned back and leaving.
"Eh, what?" The chairman said and really surprised that he left.
"You have known that he is really stubborn. My advice is that if you really need him, you really have to plead him" the head of the prisoner said.
"I don't know he will still have that pride in this situation that he is. Oh, wow" the chairman said and really amazing him.
The warder and Mr. Tee were walking along the lobby of the cells, looking at the criminals inside their cells and going to his cell. The warder had been looking at him since they had left that place, and he had really wanted to talk.
"But sir, I believe this place is not really suitable for you, so why did you throw away that opportunity" the warder said with low voice.
"You suppose to be happy that he released you, and glad. What if he doesn't come back to release you again?" The man giggled and stopped walking.
"In any situation always know your worth" he said with low voice and continued walking.
"For someone that put you in any situation come back to take you out from there that mean he or she needs you. So let them realized what they have done, and don't ever act desperate because if you do they will never respect you and they will do it again" the man said, and entered into his cell. The warder locked the door and leaving.

Henry's father and co arrived back home, got down from the car and going inside. Sound of the door opened and it was Henry that first entered. He met his stepmother there, greeted her as usually but she didn't respond. Aria looked at her with a look and hatred her attitudes toward Henry.
"How are you Love?" Henry's father greeted her with romantic smiles and wanted to be going upstairs when she called him back. He stopped walking, and obeyed her. Henry and Aria didn't stop, they continued going upstairs.
"Is it because I have allowed you to bring that your mistress' s child into this house that is why you think you can make him superior than my own children" that was the first statement she uttered out.
Aria stopped walking, holding the handles and looking at them downstairs.
"Is everything alright?" Henry's father asked with gentle voice.
"How could you appoint your mistress's child the CEO of our company when my own children are there?"
"Why is it that since that child as stepped his foot into this house that is when everything has changed? My own children mean nothing to you anymore" she said with anger.
"Please, I am begging you don't start. My children are all important to me, and I know what I am doing. Henry is suitable for the post and that is why I did that—"
"Hey! Hey!! That is why you did what? So none of my own children is suitable right or what are you telling me" she shouted at him and Henry's father had got angry.
"And who are you expecting me to appoint as the CEO? Is it Alaina who has zero interest in working OR that your so called son who can sell the entire house just to buy drug" Henry's father said with loud voice and forced out.
"I can't let my company runs down because I want to satisfy you, excuse me woman" Henry's father said with anger, passed beside her and going upstairs. Henry's stepmother changed her look and looking with hatred.
"I know what to do, I really know what to do" she carried the wine she was drinking and drank it once. She crossed her legs, and tapping the glass cup with evil look. Aria looked at her from upstairs, and with that looks on Henry's stepmother's face it really said a lot and means a lot.

"So how is that place?" Aria's spirit friend asked.
"Hmm, everyone in that house dislikes Henry except from his father, and that house is full of hatred. I don't think Henry is safe in that house" Aria said.
"I told you that anyone that seen you that mean you have an assistant to render for each others. You're the one that is going to help him then" Her friend said.

"Where did you go to, and keeps me waiting" Henry said with loud voice, and talking to Aria.
"And what happened to your phone? I called it like twice you didn't pick when you would pick you're not saying anything"
"Oh! I have gave it to my friend, maybe he is the one that picked it that is why you didn't hear anything"
"I gave him to be using it, and I want to plead you to celebrate your new post for me by getting me another phone" Aria said with smiles.
"Eh, What?" Henry said.
