Future was unknown to anyone, unless you had time related powers. Well it certainly fitted the world he found himself in. From the memories, he knew that there were some species of aliens called chronosapiens. They were all powerful with their control over time.
Well atleast Kevin's time with Servantis did helped him. The coaching Servantis had given to the Rooters was top notch. They were training them to be elite in the profession. Even now, he still remembered the vicious actions they had done as Rooters. Stuffs which would put best of the people to shame. The knowledge on aliens, combat and other things did helped him greatly now. He was having the knowledge about most of the Universe with him. Secrets which would be harmful in wrong hands. While it didn't help much things on Earth. It did give him a better advantage.
"So what's my cut?" He asked looking at the Forever Knight infront of him.
"10 grand." The knight replied calmly as always.
"Too low." Kevin replied as he waved away the knight's offer. They wanted him to find alien weapons for them. While giving weapons to Forever Knights was a bad idea, he wasn't going to ponder on it much. His focus was on the money at the moment.
While the previous Kevin did earned some hefty amount of cash. He had spent every cent on his car. There was nothing much in his arsenal at the moment. He was literally broke. All the money he had, he spent it on essentials. He needed money, even if it came from unlikely sources.
"20." The knight increased his amount.
"1 million. . . And I will give you level 5 laser lances." Kevin replied looking at the knight. The amount was large enough for both the parties. However it didn't mean that the Forever Knights couldn't affort it. The group was funded by various businessman and politicians. Their pockets ran too deep. 1 million dollars was a cheese cake for them.
The knight didn't say anything. After a moment of thinking. He finally nodded his face.
Kevin smiled at the man. Finally he got the money. He was surely gonna put it to good use.
"50 grand in advance. It will be transferred to your account." The knight said looking at him. He didn't wait any more and turned away from him.
He too walked back into his car and sped away to his new home. It was a two storeyed house with a big garden. Normally he didn't need that much space, but it was welcome nonetheless. It gave him a good vibe.
He stopped on the way back only to pick up his DNA reports from the clinic. Once he got it, he immediately went to his home. He wanted to know certain things. Stuffs which needed to be dealt with.
Once he reached home, he parked his car in the garage and walked to the living room. Turning on the TV, he opened the Discovery channel for his favourite show. The 'Man vs Wild'.
He slowly opened the envelope and looked at the DNA reports.
"I was right." He mumbled with a smile. The results were right in his guesses.
His DNA was indeed different than a normal human. From his stint in Null void, he did knew about his mutation, which granted him abilities. However he had a thesis which he wanted to check on.
The DNA reports showed that his DNA was mutated and there were minute mutations in his gene. His gene which was the source of his powers also mutated with each use of his absorption powers. He could see the traces of various DNA of aliens absorbed in his own.
His power to absorb abilities was mainly done by copying their DNA. His body copied their DNA, and he was enhanced in turn. He had long theorised that his body must have also stored that knowledge of foreign DNA inside it. It was the only thing that explained Kevin 11000 powers.
He remembered watching Kevin 11000 using his alien powers in human form. Moreover he had also shown to be able to revert back willingly into his mutated form. The idea had originated inside his head recalling it. Surely the DNA was somewhere inside his own body. His situation was somewhat similar with Superman in Man of Steel. The Kryptonian had codex inside his body, while he had DNA of various aliens.
He realised something. 'He was a walking Omnitrix'. The revelation excited him to no end. This was so awesome.
He felt his phone vibrate. Opening it up, he saw the received message. It was from his bank. The Forever Knights had deposited 50 thousand dollars as advance.
He grinned happily. This was so good for him. Now he could finally start on his other projects.
He messaged his informer Chaez. The alien was an old friend and one of the leading middleman in alien stuffs. He kept information on alien things and was an ex convict of Null Void. While he was pretty good and had a family now. He did held influence in shady areas. He had messaged him about a party wanting to sell Level 5 laser lances to anyone interested. Their demand was in millions. Obviously not many could afford it.
The Forever Knights were the foremost option which came to his mind. He had messaged them about the opportunity and a talk for meeting was set up. It was the same meeting from which he arrived now. He got one million for himself, while the other would go to the sellers.
Atleast he won't have to worry about money that much. If things did went wrong. He could always use the second option which he was working on. The only thing he needed for it could be purchased now.

"Thank you sir." The Manager replied happily with a charming smile.
Kevin nodded respectfully as he picked the bag and walked away out of the jewellery store. Once he reached his car, he slowly opened the box for a better view of the item inside it.
The diamond ring was a big investment on his part. One important enough for his future plans.
The past month had been spent in practising more with his powers. He had started to meditate everyday for a clean state of his mind. He needed that considering his powers. The absorption of powers affected his mind, resulting in insanity. He was working on that aspect for the moment. The meditation did helped in remaining composed but it wasn't going to be an overnight thing.
The results alone were baffling. Within a month's time, he was able to absorb matter completely from small amounts of given matter. Earlier, he had been unable to do the same. It was a really good progress in his opinion. Now he could absorb matter and be completely made of it even from very small amounts. Something which was gonna help him greatly.
Once he reached his home, he slowly went on to his basement. Opening up, he was greeted with the sight of various equipments lying here and there. There were guns, blasters and various other stuffs lying here and there.
Over the past days, he had been gradually increasing his knowledge on science and other alien technology. He had started to study weapons, and tinker with them. It had been a fun experience though. He learnt things which even surprised him sometimes.
He slowly absorbed the gold in the ring. Immediately his entire body became of gold, letting out a triumphant smile. He couldn't help but smile cheshirely. He was gonna have so much fun with this.
He slowly started to form gold biscuits in his hand with a smile. Over the past month, he had gotten too good in it. Earlier, he used to feel tired about it. Now, it was not the same. He could keep up till he wished.
When being completely made of metal or matter, his body didn't possess any human organs at that moment. He couldn't tire as his muscles didn't produce lactic acid then. Neither he need to breathe at those moments. There were no lungs or hearts inside him during that time. Something which he learnt recently after pondering on it. Moreover he could also shape his body as wish during this time as it wasn't flesh and bone.
However there was something else too. He could actually shapeshift a little due to it. He couldn't retain the swords or hammers of his absorbed form, however his body could adapt if he changed his height or body features. The flesh and bones were actually normal even if he changed back with different physical appearances. He could be 8 feet in height and think to remain like that while turning back into human form, and he would be indeed the same. Though his shapeshifting abilities weren't direct, they still mattered. He still didn't know how his flesh and bones reset themselves during the process. Though he was eager to find it.
His body was also far superior to any normal human. He could lift much more than any normal human. He could learn faster, adapt faster, heal faster. Heck, if it came to it, he could take much more damage than a normal human and still be okay with it. Infact if he had to explain himself. His natural body would be probably better than even a supersoldier like Captain America. He could push past the peak limits of a human. If that wasn't enough to confirm, he didn't know what was.
Still he wasn't going to get cocky. While he had a handy ability with him, he shouldn't get too self confident. This universe was new. Many dangers lied ahead.
