Suddenly, a hulking figure appeared in the doorway.
“Atticus,” Logan said, motioning him inside. “Here’s the place in question.”
Atticus nodded but looked straight into my eyes. “Tell me everything that you know.”
I took a deep breath and told him everything that had happened, from Dad not showing up at the restaurant to finding their bodies and then to Alpha Shane, leaving nothing out. When I came to the part where I had asked Alpha Shane to attack the Moon Shadow Pack, Atticus’ eyebrows lifted, and he shot a glance over at Logan, who nodded. Then I told him of Shane telling me to stay at the Shadowcrest Warriors Compound while he sent a cleaning crew here.
Atticus’ lips formed a straight line as he listened. Then he turned to Logan when I was finished. “What evidence did you find?”
“Over here.” Logan headed toward the window and pulled back the white curtain sheer. “It’s right here.”
