レビューを書くA rare book about the actual cultivation journey of a person that feels reasonable. No plot armour or unnecessary conflict and lucky escapes.
I am a fan of cultivation novels and this novel is definitely readable. even though it's not the best still enough to pass time so give it a try.
this is more like a slice of life- laid back story about MC, no rush, flowing like water that easily followed. MC is down to earth, development of story moving in steady pace. it's a good story 👍
Interesting story, a hidden gem.. although it's slow-paced story, you'll never regret reading this
After the 300th chapter, the realism decreases and the level of the novel drops. In general, it begins to describe illogical situations, fabricated without much thought. When you're in the harsh world of cultivation, it doesn't make sense to share secrets with near-strangers, pursue adventures that only bring you risks, and radically change your behavior from the initial chapters. Giving away what level alchemist you are puts you in a situation where they can kidnap you to use your talent, showing wealth that is beyond your level is also not recommended.
I am losing interest because of the new system features 😕😕😔. It could be a great novel with only the space not the system or the alchemy stuff.
Starts strong with a reasonable protagonist and setting. He’s not getting everything handed to him and he’s not a reckless fool. However, in the end of the second volume and the beginning of the third, i.e. around chapter 300, he starts getting everything. Even stuff he didn’t know he wanted. I’m ok with that every so often but for the next 100 chapters he becomes completely passive yet grows faster than ever. It seems to me the author couldn’t come up with a good reason for the protagonist to grow so they had to take away their autonomy to get anywhere. Not to mention the path they’re taking to get the power is completely different than anything before. Also the relatively reserved cautious protagonist suddenly joins an established group way to quickly. Suddenly becoming life and death friends in just a couple of days.
It's a laid-back story with a system that's not going to destroy the world's power system (at least until chapter 32) and has quite a bit of potential
It has good potential, a cohesive and very fluid story, which doesn't give the impression that the author is pushing the protagonist. It's worth reading.
It's quite good. Just reading it seems like I am reading the journey of a mortal to immortality novel. Their's pattern and cultivation system is the same.
i got a little over 200 chapters in before it was just to boring. there is no story, mc just sits around and sometimes does alchemy or makes food. maybe a conversation here or there. but besides that nothing happens. it is like reading the story of a snail. if there was more action or scheming or something it would be so much better. the mc just doesn't do a single thing for hundreds of chapters.
MC has a daughter that's what I don't like, MC has harem but it's okay. I already don't like the presence of Daughter and sister in Novels, they only bring trouble, make MC soft, try to play cute which is even more annoying, always act naive without proper understanding of the Cultivation world(we see the same in this novel too in later chapters).
in this genre and on this platform this is by far one of the good novel out there #no clitches #smart and reasonable mc and #an engaging new storyline #translation is a tier or two below shadow slave and overall it's a really good read so far
I like the novel, but if mc has only the farming space but not the system then it'll be more good because I don't like those mc who just sit and gets stronger without doing anything. MC has good character, he trusts his close ones, and helps them if they need help.
I can’t get passed the names. It’s like translator might die if they went more than one interaction without somebody being called Daoyou. Could be good for those that like more slice of life cultivation novels as long as you don’t even bother trying to care about interactions between people. Also the lack of pronouns or titles (fellow daoist, alchemist,..) is very annoying.
[Ratings are based off trial read standard] So ive read up to the start of payed chapters and honestly, for a trail read, this novel isnt that bad. The worldbuilding isnt very fleshed out if you are new to the genre but if you are enough is explained to not be totally confused. The system is also done pretty well with a lot of hard work and commitment needed for development , although it seems the alchemy cheat is a bit much with the context we have been given about the difficulty of pill refining in this world. The first few chapters obviously have the villian who bullies the mc, but the reason is clearly explained and is justifiable with the setting and is, i believe, temporarily relieved early on to start the actual story. Future Female MC has been introduced yet the description so far is vague but her character is slowly being drawn out and is quite respected and an actual character instead of 'ivory skin and peachy lips with cloths that barely cover her'. Also the daugher is really cute so far and isnt annoying which they sometimes can be unintentionally. Especially if she is taught the skills of her Mother and the MC, she could become a really good character in future chapters/arcs. Thank you for reading, im not ue to doing reviews but wanting to write more for trial reads up to the paywall.
