章 1: INTRODUCITION (part-1)

In Ruby City, District 32, Street 7,

A young man lay in bed, contemplating his thoughts.

"My name is Alas Ramaus, I am 17 years old, and I am a high school student. Although I might be considered good-for-nothing, I am undeniably handsome with my black silky hair, red eyes, and perfect body."

*Knock, knock, knock...*

As he was lost in his thoughts, he heard a knock on the door.

"Alas, wake up! If you keep sleeping, you'll be late for school," a sweet voice called from outside the door.

It was his mother, Veranasa Ramourse, a beautiful woman with blonde hair, pearl-white skin, a slender figure, and red eyes.

"Yes, Mom, I'll be down in ten minutes for breakfast," Alas responded hurriedly. It was already 8:40 AM, and his class started at 9:00 AM.

Alas descended the stairs to the dining table and noticed a beautiful young girl sitting opposite him. It was his sister, Kavya Ramourse, the campus belle of his high school. She had long blonde hair (naturally blonde but dyed black), red eyes, and was dressed in a white blazer with a blue-purple lined shirt and a matching skirt that highlighted her curves and long legs.

"What are you staring at? Is there something on my face?" Kavya asked, narrowing her gaze, sending chills down his spine.

"No, nothing..." Alas replied, hastily eating his breakfast. "I was just curious why you're still here. You're usually gone by now."

"My friend Lily is running late. Once she arrives, we'll head to school together," Kavya replied, sipping her orange juice. After that, Alas didn't ask any more questions and continued eating his breakfast.

"Okay, my breakfast is over, so I'll be heading out now," Alas said and left the house.

Despite coming from a wealthy family, Alas felt like an ordinary student because he couldn't use magic. In a world where magic was common, he was considered useless. Although he excelled academically, he struggled with sports, as his peers could enhance their abilities with magic. However, he had hope.

"But now, with the help of the system, I can reach the top of the world... Hehe... Haha..." Alas laughed maniacally in the middle of the road.

"Is he mad, laughing like a monster in the middle of the road?" someone from the crowd remarked, but Alas ignored them.

Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice behind him. "Hey, Alas, wait for me!"

Turning around, he saw his friend Kevin, also a student at the magic academy where Alas studied.

"Good morning," Kevin greeted.

"Good morning, Kevin. So, you're late for school too?" Alas asked.

"Nah, brother, this is my usual time to arrive," Kevin replied, breathing heavily.

"Oh, I see," Alas responded calmly.

They arrived at the school gate, protected by defensive magic. After showing their ID cards, they entered the academy. The academy was vast, covering 5 km in range, big and magnificent.

As they headed to their class, 2E, Alas remarked, "There are so many students on the field. Is something going on?"

Suddenly, they heard a voice amplified by magic. "Students and teachers, ladies and gentlemen, today we are gathered to celebrate our 'KUTU International Magic Academy' winning the International Magic Competition 2203. Thanks to our students' hard work, we secured first place. Today, those who participated will be rewarded by the academy's principal, Kutu."

*Clap, clap, clap... whistle...* The crowd erupted in applause and cheers. Most of the boys were eager to see Kavya, while the girls wanted to see Victor.
