章 1: The day it all started
I was only 6 years old when I had to face the world on my own. I never thought my mother and father would be killed. Right there I stood watching HIM using his knife and slicing their necks open. "Stop" I wanted to scream but couldn't A human being in the world I live in! How could it be? The only living things that can enter into this world are elves or halflings. Did this human use an elf to let himself in or was he just a halfling himself? Questions running through my mind. Never ending.
I felt a hand over my mouth, as it pulled me into the darkness. I wanted to screamed, it was the human's hand. I smelled the blood from my parents as he wiped it off before touching me. I bit his hand as my bite drew blood to escaped from his grasp. The taste was salty, hot, thick, iron blood that ran into my mouth. I ran out the door screaming for help. Few guards were sweeping by my home . Lucky I ran into them. Trying to tell them what had happen, but the words were getting jumble up. If not for the blood around my mouth, they most likely would have believed I did it. I was old enough to use a knife. They went to my house and saw the gorey searcery. Blood on the floor and the walls. Bodies lying limp on the ground. As they search the house and found footprints of a human in there.
They took me to their headquarters and took a swab of blood from my mouth to confirm it was wasn't mine. As I sat there in terroir. I finally realized I was in a murder scene and they were going question me. One of the guards that was a female. She kneeled in front of me. Her eyes were gold as the sun and her hair was white as the clouds. She was so dazzling to look at. She put me under her hypnotised spell, telling her how it all happened. I was calm as I told what I saw and heard. Little did I know that this would help me be free me.
Those around the room were tensed as I came out of the hypnotise. I found out later that this was not his frist time killing nor will it be his last.
I was the only child who ever survived the killing of a human and had evidence of this person. I didn't know if I was lucky or curse. I would be the only person who would be know the sole survivor of the elves mastacure.

Lunalightqueen I hope everyone enjoy the frist chapter. It's my frist story to be publish ever and I just wanted to see how far I will go with it. I would love feedback about it. Hopeful it's good if not where can I improve.

I rediting the book from this to the fifth chapter I hope it is a lot better.
