"I don't know what game you're playing at, but this isn't going to work as you think it would," Rajeesh said after a brief moment of thinking about it.

"That is for me to worry about. You, on the other hand, just need to announce the move during the next General Assembly. What is the worst they can do?"

"Kill me?"

"A very good point, but why would they? Have you ever heard of the phrase 'trapped by social convention'?" David asked.

"If you die, who do you think people would suspect the most for your death?"

"That alone wouldn't keep them in check."

"Naturally, but it will prevent them from taking any direct action," David replied.

This much was true. However, there was also the chance of a lunatic going after him, but in such a case, that would just be unfortunate.

"At best, they will withdraw their contributions, cutting off your funding. But do you think that will be an issue?" David said.
