章 551: Nine Months

"Your grace, you have a guest." Ana raised her brow when the maid announced a guest. It had been two days and they had waited eagerly for Lucas to send a messenger or anything. They even prepared themselves for his visit. But nothing happened.

No one came, asked or objected when they changed the staff. Only Kefile, the butler, was left. But he was always silent. Hardly interrupting their tasks or wandering around the kitchen to mix something in their food. Old tutors had resumed the job of training Rowan. 

And they were relieved that Rowan had only improved in time. It was all thanks to Cent, who had taken good care of him.

"Who is it?" she asked as she swallowed her saliva. Her idea of initiating the war had not changed. Garry had been absent every night when the door of their room was closed. He left for the Grand Corner and assured her that he was preparing for it but they needed time. It was not that easy to fight. And she understood it.
