Rowan placed the bowl of porridge back on the table with a flushed face. He had never been teased so much in the past.

He glared at his nanny but she only beamed with joy. She was using Ana to take revenge on him.

Though Ana did not say a word after that, her beaming face and mirth filled eyes were enough to embarrass him.

Apart from that, he felt warmth spreading in his body again. Was he feeling the after effects of fever? Rowan shook his head. He was not that weak.

But before he could conclude his feelings, he heard a knock on the door and his body froze.

The look of Garrison had never scared him so much in the past.

His body broke into cold sweat again.

Ana felt the change on his face too. With a frown, she turned to look at the door and found Garrison smiling at the child.

"I heard that you are sick, Rowan. How are you feeling now?" with a warm smile on his face, the man entered the room.
