章 237: A dying marriage

Slam! 

Savine grunted as she dedicated herself to each swing of the hammer, pounding away at the small piece of red metal. Eventually, it transformed into something shaped like a star and she threw it to the box of ready pieces.

But her work was far from over, she held another piece of unworked metal in her hands and heated it hot enough to melt. Once again, she began to pound at it relentlessly but one bad swing caused the small piece to fly away from the anvil and lodge itself to the wall of the workshop.

"Shit…"

It was a long and arduous process and the fact that there was something seething inside her didn't help. 

She got up, pulled the piece out of the wall with her tong and place it over the anvil. 

She raised her hammer high… but soon threw it to the side. 

'Maybe my anger's not the problem, maybe I'm just too tired.'

So she said to herself, but she couldn't deny reality.
