章 4: Dark Seraphim Bloodline {Awakened!}
"Miss Shirley it appears that your star student does not appreciate your good intentions."
"That's right, students like that don't deserve much attention as they are nothing more than let downs."
Shirley disregarded those two teachers trying to stir her up and wondered why Elyon wasn't here yet.
'Is he held up by an issue in his cultivation?' When she thought of this, she couldn't hold back anymore and swiftly left the scene.
On the side the other teachers who saw this merely shook their heads. As far as they were concerned, Miss Shirley was siding with the wrong person.
If not, who in their right mind would want to offend the family that rules this city?
After she left the group of students there began to discuss amongst themselves.
"If Elyon misses this opportunity I wonder if he would still wear that proud look of his?"
"Who cares, we are also Elites of the academy. Who can be sure that he would awaken a more powerful bloodline than us?"
"True or those he think that he is a chosen one who can awaken naturally?"
"Natural Bloodline Awakening? You think too highly of him. Anyone who is able to awaken their bloodlines without external help are those who will lead the human race in the future if all goes well how could Elyon be such a figure?"
They spoke without a care in the world as they have long been jealous of Elyon and his outstanding performance in the academy.
Even Kaiser falls short of his brilliance and many teachers believed he has a bright future, or at least he did. But looking at things now, many believes he won't go far even if he awakens successfully.
Unless he awakens some heaven defying bloodline that would alert even the Principal to take him seriously. But would that be easy to achieve?

Meanwhile Elyon was busy analyzing himself.
The Artifact Spirit had just explained more about itself, making him understand more deeply how much of an opportunity it was for him to have it in his possession.
Apparently the artifact spirit has a name, Lilith which Elyon found strange as he couldn't match the feminine name with the stiffly unemotional voice of the artifact spirit. But hey, you don't judge a book by its cover…at least not all the time.
Asides from its name, the fact that the artifact spirit had customized it function to suit his modern standards made him click his tongue in wonder.
Finally he knew what to do and as a loner who had once immersed himself in ancient and archaic books called webnovels and also a citizen of the New Age, he called out with excitement.
"Status."
A holographic screen appeared in front him immediately, one that him alone could see.

'Bloodline Tempering Realm, and my stats…'
According to the system, the average adult male will have a stat point of 0.7 if quantified into data like this. Elyon's previous stat was just above this level at 0.8 in physique.
The physique attribute comprises of strength, agility, defense, stamina, and even recovery or physical regenerative ability. This is easily understood.
The Mind stat on the other hand is the combination of intellect and wisdom, which both entails mental acuity, insight, and even the ability to comprehend is included in it.
As for spirit this has direct influence on his ability to control essence. Ordinary people don't have this stat and can only have it if they awakened.
As regards to his level being in the Bloodline Tempering Realm, that is the first cultivation realm. Like its name implies its focus is to temper the awakened bloodline and when the bloodline has been tempered to the peak the following realm after it is the Essence Refining Realm.
Elyon's eyes shifted to the Bloodlines section and asked, "I have two bloodlines? One should be my original bloodline right?"

"I see, you said there are other functions right?"
[Yes, Master, but before that you have a quest.]
"What?"

"Student Elyon!"
Elyon shot up and rushed to put on some clothes while responding to his unexpected visitor.
"I'm coming Miss Shirley!"
After a minute or two Elyon opened the door and seeing the furious face of his teacher, he rushed to explain himself, "Miss Shirley I-"
"Save your words for later, time is running out we need to rush for your awakening," She cut him off and drag him out from the room without waiting for his response.
"Miss, please wait I need to tell you something!"
Hearing the tone of his voice Miss Shirley let him go but not before scolding him, "Look at you, I am really disappointed in you. How can you miss the awakening? Do you not have a dream anymore."
"Miss Shirley I awakened last night."
"Yeah, no excuses. How can…wait what did you say?" Shirley thought she heard incorrectly.
Elyon smiled at the slightly startled face of his beautiful teacher and replied, "I awakened last night."
"On your own?" Shirley asked again.
Elyon nodded and Miss Shirley suddenly grabbed his hand to check his pulse and then exclaimed in surprise.
"You are not lying, you have indeed entered the Bloodline Tempering Realm overnight. This means…"
"Yes Miss Shirley, I awakened naturally," Elyon took pride in making his teacher look at him with eyes like that.
"Come with me."
Before Elyon could react his feet lifted up the ground and he could somehow guess what was going to happen next.
