She had not expected that within these ruins, such an environment could still exist, let alone other inhabitants!

Things she had only seen in records were now right before her eyes.

Shuangxin reached out and gently touched the leaves beside her, the unique tactile sensation making her tremble as if she had been electrocuted.

She saw a strange yellow bug hovering in the center of a flower, seemingly collecting something, its wings flapping and producing a buzzing sound.

A rabbit hopped by and startled Shuangxin. She crouched down and pressed down on the rabbit, the fluffy and soft feeling stunning her like never before.

Coming to the side of a stream, Shuangxin crouched and reached her hand in to touch it, the cold and clear sensation jolting her. She retracted her hand and studied the liquid on her fingertips, eventually concluding that this substance was water.

She licked her tongue over it.
