章 32: Epilogue
Three Months Later.
It's been three months, since Loki, Thor and the Asgardians had left. The aftermath of the giants attack left a sad scar on the lives of those around us. However Ashleigh and I are the only ones who truly knows what happened that day. Everyone else believed that a freak cyclone killed the lives of hundreds of people.
Ashleigh and I walked along the streets of Brisbane, the humid air, causing sweat beads to form on our foreheads.
"So, I was thinking either America or England? What do you think?" Ashleigh quizzed me as she sucked on a lollipop.
"I literally only suggested once, that we should move overseas, it was a random thought, it doesn't mean that I will do it.''
"But deep down you think that it would be the best thing ever!"
I couldn't deny that. Moving to live overseas always intrigued me as a child, but now I could possibly do it.
I began to cross a road, "You know, I think that England sounds best, but that's only a maybe, you know only if I have the finances to support myself in an area such as-"
I was cut off by Ashleigh screaming, "Ingrid look out!"
Time slowed down, I turned to my right to see a silver four-wheel-drive car heading right towards me.
I felt no pain as it hit me.
All I felt was...
Nothing.
