As long as we develop at a faster speed than them and remain in the lead, we won't have to worry about them!"
"What you said sounds very reasonable, but even if we cooperate with the sect, there is no guarantee that we will be in the top 10, forget about number one."
"There will always be other people with better keywords than us, and those people from the elite schools probably have more knowledge and understanding than us,"
"As long as they don't get any particularly bad keywords, they will definitely always have the advantage over us!"
"What you are doing is simply day dreaming with your eyes open."
"Even authors don't dare to write novels like that!"
"If we aim for the top 50 or top 30, maybe it would be possible, but anything higher than that…"
Tony shook his head without continuing, but his meaning was obvious.
'There is that topic again, "Elite schools", is there some kind of class segregation in the real world?'
"You are being too pessimistic, how can you live your life with a glass half empty view? If you continue like this you won't achieve anything great."
"Besides, the difference between the elite schools and public schools probably isn't that big."
Tony looked towards Jeff with a subtle look in his eyes.
After a moment of thought, he spoke casually :
"This plate of food is almost finished, and I am about to ask for more, do you want some as well?"
Jeff rolled his eyes at him.
"The way you changed the subject was too forceful."
"No, I'm good, my increasing attributes have filled my body with energy."
When he heard this, Tony's expression changed wildly.
'What's wrong? Did I expose myself?'
Jeff panicked for no reason.
"I see, so you came from an elite school, right?"
"Nope, I'm from a public school."
Tony sneered:
"Heh, do you take me for an idiot?"
"You haven't eaten anything since we came here and yet you refuse to get food."
"Only people from elite schools who have eaten organic food all their lives would act like you."
"Us public school students who have eaten shitty synthetic food since birth, would do anything to eat such food!"
'Just how bad is life outside?!'
'I suddenly hope that I really am from an elite school!'
"Firstly, I really am from a public school,"
"Secondly, didn't you say that you were from an elite school earlier?"
Tony automatically ignored Jeff's first sentence.
"What? Is there anything wrong with lying in order to survive?"
Tony ignored him and asked a deacon to get him another plate of food.
After a while, another plate of food was brought in.
Jeff watched Tony eating as if he had a black hole in his stomach, wondering what he was going to do after becoming full.
'After all, the human body has it's limits.'
'Although a keyword like gluttony seems to be an easy way to the peak on the surface, it is very restrictive in nature.'
'In the early stage it is easy to improve, all one has to do is eat, but in the later stage, this becomes the key shortcoming.'
'If all you can do in order to gain XP is to eat, then the maximum pace you can develop at is already set.'
10 minutes later, Jeff's conjecture was proven to be true.
Tony stopped eating and looked at his stomach with an expression of, 3 points of confusion, 4 points of panic, and 3 points of pain.
He sat there, staring blankly at his bulging belly for a long time.
Just as Jeff was wondering what was going on in his mind, he felt a torrent of XP enter his body!
The amount of XP entering his body was at least 20 times stronger than what he had felt before!
'What happened?!'
Jeff was pleasantly surprised, and puzzled by the sudden increase in strength, but he didn't have any way to know what he did to get this boost, so he could only open his system panel.

The sect leader's palace.
"Come in."
A servant who had previously knocked on the door quickly walked in, whispered a few words to the sect leader, handed him a small note book, and quickly left.
The sect leader opened it and quickly read the contents before passing the notebook to the second elder, while saying:
"It seems that there is indeed quite a few things that those people are hiding from us."
"Their conversations were recorded in this book, take a look."
After everyone read the contents, they started discussing the contents.
The second elder was the first to speak:
"First of all, I think it is safe to assume the talk about them being demons or whatever is nonsense."
"In their conversation, they talk about elite schools, public schools and such, which shows that they are probably humans from a different kind of civilization that is different from ours'."
The other elders and the sect leader nodded in acknowledgement of this point.
The fourth elder even snorted and said:
"I never believed that there were any kind of demons, who still believes in superstitions in this day and age?"
The silent third elder rolled his eyes at him internally.
'If I didn't know you, I might have believed you, but seeing how you were so eager to kill them off, you definitely believed that they were demons.'
The second elder stroked his goatee with a frown on his face as he continued:
"From what they said, it is obvious that they take their presence in this world as some kind of competition?"
"Is their civilization so advanced that they can go to other planets to compete against each other?"
"But then again, they might have held this conversation while knowing that someone was recording what they were saying, so we mustn't take their words too seriously."
The third elder nodded and added:
"Yes, we should slowly test them in our own way and verify the truth for our selves."
To which, they all agreed.
After some time of silence, the fourth elder spoke.
"Do you guys believe Coby's words, when he says that his unique demonic nature is protection?"
The sect leader shook his head.
"Such a word is too obscure and difficult to verify, so he could be lying."
The second elder nodded and added:
"Mm, it is different from Tony, as long as we can control his food, we can easily verify the nature of their weird powers."
"On top of that, it is more difficult to see through Coby's thoughts."
"On the surface, he seems to be eager to protect our sect, but if his keyword is actually betrayal like Tony said…"
Hearing this, the fourth elder immediately agreed.
"That is what I am thinking, he clearly hasn't protected our sect yet, but his strength seems to be increasing faster than Tony's!"
"I think that even if we are to use these aliens, we mustn't keep those with obscure, what did they call it… keywords,"
"We can recruit a few more aliens into our sect, but they must have very clear keywords, without any obscurity."
Hearing this, the other elders were convinced.
The third elder even looked at the forth elder with a look that expressed the meaning: "I didn't expect you to be so smart."
"What is the meaning of that look."
"Oh, nothing. It just means that I am impressed by you."
"Anyway, I think it is better to get rid of Coby before he becomes any stronger."
The second elder thought for a while before saying:
"I agree with you, but we shouldn't let Tony know about this."
"Even if they seem to have a conflict, if we suddenly kill someone of the same kind as him, it will easily arouse his disgust, and he might feel some resistance in cooperating with us."
"That would not be conducive to our future plans."
After thinking for a while, the sect leader came up with a feasible plan.
"Let us wait for the news from Eagle city,"
"We can ask Coby to go to eagle city to confirm if the person we found there is a demon, we can then get rid of him while he is on the way there."
"Or we can let him really go there, and we capture him and torture him for information while he is there."
"This way we can get the best of both worlds, we get all the information about these aliens, and we cooperate with a relatively more stable and controllable one."
All the elders immediately agreed to this plan.
"Third elder, I will trouble you to take this trip with him to eagle city, this way he won't be able to escape no matter what happens."
The third elder Immediately patted his chest and said.
"You can count on me."
I want to introduce more players, comment any keywords ideas you want someone to have. If the keyword is interesting enough, I will definitely add it.
