Chapter 119: Give Tailed Beast

Hashirama is a sick and only he knew about it but he didn't have the cure for it, every person who wield the power of Asura will get chakra poison at same point of their life.
For the past 1,000 years, Asura's chakra had managed to kill those who inherited its power, while Indra had been killed in battle by Asura. But this time was different—Madara was still alive, though he was in hiding, and the Uchiha and Senju clans had united.
After looking at the village he build with Madara, he decided to further stable it. So he had been all around the world capturing from the second tails to eight tails.
"Brother, this is a foolish decision. Do you really believe giving the tailed beasts to other villages is the right thing to do?" Tobirama questioned.
"Tobirama, our village is very powerful, and that creates an imbalance in power," replied Hashirama. "That's why I want to distribute the tailed beasts to others."
"Brother, Madara was right—you are truly foolish," Tobirama mocked.
"Tobirama, you agree with Madara?" asked Hashirama, surprised.
"Yes, in terms of this, you're quite foolish," Tobirama retorted.
"Tobirama... I don't have much time left," Hashirama confessed.
Tobirama was shocked. "What do you mean, you don't have much time?"
"I'm dying, Tobirama," said Hashirama.
"What?" Tobirama was utterly shocked. He quickly tried to touch Hashirama's body, channeling chakra into him.
The chakra within Hashirama's body was rejecting his cells, producing something akin to cancer.
"Is this what's happening to your body?" Tobirama asked, deeply concerned.
"My chakra is poisoning me, causing my cells to die," Hashirama explained. "Brother, I know you think I'm foolish, but there's a reason I want to give the tailed beasts to other villages. I don't want whoever succeeds me as Hokage to start a war with them in the future. By creating a balance of power, they'll be cautious of each other, which could prevent conflict."
"But what if they use the tailed beasts to attack Konoha?" Tobirama questioned.
"I trust you, brother. You will stop them," said Hashirama. "Setsuna, the last holder of the Mangekyō Sharingan, could help as well if it happens. Besides Wood Style, the Mangekyō can also suppress the tailed beasts."
"Brother, do you really trust him?" asked Tobirama.
"Yes. I've seen Setsuna. He knows what he wants and understands what's best for him. Isn't that why he chose to become part of the Uzumaki clan?" Hashirama replied.
Tobirama sighed. "Alright, I'll trust you this time."
Even though Tobirama was a genius, he still couldn't resist the power of Hashirama's "talk no jutsu."

"Setsuna, what do you think about Konoha's decision to give away the tailed beasts?" asked the Uzukage.
He had just received news that his son-in-law, Hashirama, had sold the remaining tailed beasts to other villages. If Tobirama hadn't insisted on selling them, Hashirama might have given them away for free.
If the Uzukage had known earlier, he would have done everything in his power to stop it or at least claimed the Eight-Tails to protect Uzushiogakure. Unfortunately, he only found out after the other villages had already made their purchases.
"The tailed beasts? While they can create balance, they could also escalate war," said Setsuna. "Can you imagine five villages using the tailed beasts to fight each other?"
"I... What should we do, Setsuna?" asked the Uzukage.
"Don't worry, Father," Setsuna said, activating his Mangekyō Sharingan. "I'm the last wielder of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, and I can control the tailed beasts if they attack this village."
The Uzukage looked at Setsuna's Mangekyō and breathed a sigh of relief.
"I'm glad you chose to marry my daughter."
"Hahaha, I'm glad I married her too," replied Setsuna.
They both laughed.
"When do you think the war will happen?" asked the Uzukage.
"If Hashirama dies early, the first war might happen, and at that time no village will use the tailed beasts," replied Setsuna. "But if the other villages learn sealing techniques and figure out how to control the tailed beasts, the next war will be much worse."
"I... I gave them the two trigram seal," the Uzukage admitted.
"Who did you give the trigram to?" asked Setsuna.
"My daughter, Mito. And I believe that seal has been passed to other villages as well," replied the Uzukage.
"Are you worried they might attack Uzushiogakure because of our sealing jutsu?" asked Setsuna.
"Yes," nodded the Uzukage.
"Father-in-law, don't worry. I've developed something that could strengthen the Uzumaki Clan," said Setsuna.
"What do you mean by strengthen?" asked the Uzukage.
"Do you know how members of our clan awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan?" questioned Setsuna.
"No, I don't," replied the Uzukage.
"I awakened these eyes after my brother died. Both Madara and Izuna awakened theirs after losing someone close to them," revealed Setsuna.
"This... I wasn't aware of that," replied the Uzukage.
"To awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan, one must experience deep sadness. This triggers a special chakra that flows into our eyes, a potent form of yin chakra," explained Setsuna. "But there is a problem with it."
"What is the problem?" asked the Uzukage.
"For example, Yang chakra strengthens the body, but too much Yang can dull the mind. Hashirama is a good example of that," said Setsuna.
Hearing Setsuna's explanation, the Uzukage suddenly understood why Hashirama sometimes seemed foolish.
"They aren't always stupid or dull," continued Setsuna. "In fact, they are geniuses, but the excess Yang chakra dampens their clarity of thought. Yin chakra, on the other hand, is the opposite. It sharpens the mind, making its wielder more intelligent but also more ruthless. I've discovered a way to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan without the need to witness someone's death. Additionally, I've developed a seal to block the negative influence of Yin chakra."
The Uzukage stood up suddenly, staring at Setsuna.
"Do you mean that everyone in your clan can awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan?" asked the Uzukage.
"Correct. They can all awaken it. However, right now, only those in Uzushiogakure can, because I haven't shared the sealing jutsu with Konoha," replied Setsuna.
