Naboo space...
A dumbfounded admiral of the Trade Federation fleet can be seen inside the command center of the fleet's flagship.
He's currently feeling a primal emotion that predated each and every sentient being in the whole galaxy. The emotion of fear. He fears what he is currently seeing right now. Ships of varrying sizes each longer than his flagship, a Luchreculk-class by a grest margin. His measly fleet can be called as an ant in front of the enemy fleet.
"A-admiral! What are your orders?" questioned an officer who's expression also showed fear as cold sweat seeped through his uniform.
"Contact that fleet! We need to know what's their purpose and kindly ask them to leave if possible. Also, recall our starfighters otherwise they might be seen as an act of provocations and be misinterpreted otherwise." after some thought the admiral ordered something probably out of fear for the enemy.
"Yes admiral!"saluted the officer as he sent a transmission to the enemy fleet requesting for a talk with their fleet commander.
At this moment, the officer saw an anomaly. The same frequency used by the fleet in front of them is the same as the frequency of the supposed "prank" call earlier. He immediately felt a bad premonition and decided to inform his admiral about this matter.
"Admiral, the frequency the unknown fleet is emitting is the same as the frequency in which the prank call earlier was sent." reported the officer. His report made all the people aboard the command room. subconsciously look at him, praying that it's only a joke.
"Are you sure? Present the data comparison on the big screen."ordered the admiral as he gulped a mouthful of saliva to try and calm his senses down.
He thought that if it really are them then because they don't speak the same language as they do, a miscommunication will surely occur and it might result on an unnecessary battle.
Two sets of data graph was presented on the big screen. One is the frequency from the first transmission and the other is the frequency being projected by the fleet in front of them.
There's a slight deviation but their likeness is at 97%, enough to be considered for both to be the same entity. A cold sweat run down on everyone's back as they felt absolute fear.
"There's got to be something wrong with the data. Re run the comparison!" growled the admiral not accepting the reality in front of them.
"Sir I've rerun the comparison for thrice already and it showed the same result." replied the officer.
Just like the admiral, the other people inside the command room also can't accept this reality. They know what a miscommunication can bring between two fleets. A battle has a bug chance to occur and they don't want to fight those flying space behemoths.
Just then, a transmission accept notification was seen by an officer and he immediately put it on the big screen.
The call was connected and for the first time, the Imperium has engaged in a talks with a native inhabitant of this galaxy.
Aboard the Emperor-class battleship...
"Lord Admiral, a transmission request and a message was intercepted! It's from the same xeno fleet! Running the translation software provided by the Astra Mechanicus!..." reported the new officer responsible for this type of job. The former officer was shot down and his blood is still stained underneath the boots of the new officer.
As the report was sent to the central command, the response of the central command is that save the humans and wipe out anything that stands in the way of this order. Also included in the response was a translation software specifically provided by the Astra Mechanicus for a better communication. This software is then distributed to each ship, fighter, etc. on the fleet.
The original job of the battlefleet is to only observe the happenings and meddle with it if humans are hurt. Their ships originally has no software for translation. They didn't expect any sort of communication between them and the natives of this galaxy. However, the Lord Admiral broadcasted on open channel a statement of provocation when she saw what is the natives planning to do. This then lead to communications between them and the natives.
The Lord Admiral declined on running the software on the first message they received as a test. Her reason is that even if the message is translated to their language the contents would be the same as her understanding of the message so it would be a waste of time. The officers on board didn't argue with her in fear of being shot down due to insubordination and questioning the will of the Emperor by the comissar who's observing everyone intently and gently tapping his pistol as if he'll shoot anyone anytime.
"Lord Admiral the translation is complete! Sending the message to the big screen." reported the officer as a message was seen on the gigantic screen in front of everyone.
The message read as...
"We are the Trade Federation's fleet...I would like to inquire your purpose on jumping to this system and if possible it would be good if you will just leave to avoid any confrontation."
A short but straight to the point message earned the Lord Admiral's anger.
"They are asking us to leave? Preposterous! No one can and no shall hinder people under the direct orders of the God-Emperor!" shouted the Lord Admiral in anger as she stomped her foot on the floor and stood up pointing to the big screen.
Almost everyone present made an unsightly look filled with anger and hatred for the other party. They thought that the other party doesn't want them to complete the orders of the Emperor. Such a thing warrants for a thousand deaths.
The officer who's job is the communications on the other hand looked at everyone with rather confused looks. They might have read the statement on an arrogant tone so they thought of this.
But he knew better than to tell them that they must have interpreted the other party's statement wrong. He can't have a bullet fying his way anytime soon.
Voices of anger sounded inside the command room as the officers and even the comissar urged the Lord Admiral to give the order of attack against this fleet that they labeled as "infidels".
The Lord Admiral is absolutely ecstatic with the response of her officers and the comissar. She immediately ordered that the transmission request be accepted for she would like to see who dares to hinder the Imperial Navy and no reply shall be sent for the message.
The call connected and for the first time, 2 entities of entirely different galaxies met. One is the admiral of a fleet which is part of a federation manipulated by a sith. The other is a great Lord Admiral of a battlefleet directly tasked by the God-Emperor himself.
The officer aboard the flagship of the Trade Federation's fleet showed a thumbs up signifying that the call is connected and he can speak anytime.
On the big screen the figure of the Lord Admiral can be seen. Her grand and majestic uniform can be seen clearly. The different ornamentation shone on the light.
The admiral immediately concluded that the woman in fron of her is high ranking on the enemy's army based on her uniform and the sheer size of the ships on her fleet.
"Esteemed commander, I Admiral... would like to inquire what's your purpose here on the Naboo system and is it possible for you to turn around?" the admiral didn't beat around the bush and directly went to the point.
He saw the other frown and fear once again descended on his body.
"Well well, I am Lord Admiral... my purpose here is simple. Elimate xenos like you and complete my orders." answered the Lord Admiral on the other line. The voice however isn't the same as he expected. He concluded that she must be using some sort of third party help for translation because of the mechanic voice.
"Surely you can turn a blind eye here and work your way around these orders. How about I give you money? I'm rich and just say the amount and I'll give it to you. All you need to do is go away. " chuckled the admiral in fear as he tried to use one of the oldest tricks on the book, bribing.
It dawned upon him that this fleet in front of him must be part of some xenophobic organization. So he tried to bribe them on going away. After all no one can resist the temptation of money and he's sure that the woman in front of him is also like that.
"How dare you? Trying to bribe an officer and subordinate of the Emperor! Such arrogance!" even with the electronic voice they still felt the anger behind her words and at this moment the admiral knew that he kicked an iron plate.
The Lord Admiral can be seen standing up and slowly walking to the camera.
"You'll pay for your disrespectful acts! You piece of fucking xeno scum! Once I see a member of your species I'll fucking him with my own two hands!" the declaration made everyone inside the ship dumbfounded with fear seeping through their hearts as the transmission suddenly ended.
"Prepare for combat!" ordered the admiral as he thought that he might have poked snd awakened the wrong animal.
The order is transmitted to every ship in the fleet and everyone entered the combat readiness state.
Meanwhile inside the Emperor-class battleship...
"Pass the order to everyone that they be ready to wipe some xeno scum in the name of the Emperor." ordered the Lord Admiral as she sat back to her seat observing the officers.
"Also notify the guardsmen to prepare for planetary landing. Save the humans on that planet and spread his majesty's truth!"
"Oh, also pick the floating space vessel and lock them up inside their ship. Don't let them go anywhere, we might attain some important information from them."
"Yes lastly, find the capital planet in which that xeno's nation resides. We will be doing pest control after this battle as long as the central command permits it. They dare sully the reputation of my reputation. I'll be a laughing stock amongst the Lord Admirals once they know that a xeno tried to bribe me! Such an act makes them more than eligible for exterminatus!" ranted the Lord Admiral as she cursed her enemy's whole species.
"Yes my lord!" shouted everyone as they started to work on the orders.
"That piece of a xeno scum! Trying to bribe a loyal subordinate of his majesty. Such an unforgivable act!" cursed the Lord Admiral in her mind.
At the hangar of the Emperor-class battleship...
Countless groups of men were rushing inside their spacecrafts as the alarm for battle sounded. They boarded their fury interceptors and did a ritualistic prayer before starting the engine.
"We pray by the by the Emperor's will that he protect us. Let him always guide us in this battle that we shall participate and win for his name and the Imperium. We promise in the Emperor's name that we will not let our vehicle be infiltrated and stained by the dirty boots of the enemy. If we failed to do so then we must crash our vehicle to the enemy ship as a way to atone for our sins and failure." a simple prayer and promise made by a random group of men.
"The Emperor protects!" shouted the pilot on top of his lungs.
"The Emperor protects!" shouted back his crew.
This scene can be scene on the hundreds or possibly thousands of the Imperium's starfighters. They all swore in the name of the Emperor to fulfill their mission and not retreat one step back.
The battle has already started for a few seconds and by the God-Emperor's will, the enemy ships are getting teared apart by the superior naval ships of the servants of the Emperor.
As the gates of the hangar opened, the fury interceptors flew out showing their whole figure to the galaxy for the first time. The first battle of this galaxy's native inhabitants against the aliens that is the Imperium shall commence and one side would not see the light of day again after this battle.
A quick correction, the star destroyers still aren't present by this time in the series so that's my fault there. I just can't find any suitable ships that can give the appropriate impact for that statement so I decided to use the star destroyer as a way to deliver more impact. And for that I'm truly sorry.
Also, do you really want me to try and bring some of the primarchs back? (Let's exclude the one who fell into chaos to avoid too much crappy and illogical arguments)
