章 5: A Honorless Retreat
Currently above the clouds in the Qinjet, Black Widow and Hawkeye were observing the battle. They both were feeling helpless as even if they went down there, they wouldn't even offer a distraction.
They also could not risk their means of returning to the future as this Quiinjet had the Time Machine built into it by a joint effort with Tony and Reed Richard. Both knew the danger of Time Travel, but they often had to stop others who ignored those dangers.
Unlike those two geniuses, Hawkeye and Black Widow only had skills that had limits. All they had learned would be of no use when faced with Titanic beasts that could devastate everything for miles with a single breath. Nothing they had on hand could help out their friends.
Even worse was that the fight was not going well especially after the hoard of mythical monsters got bonded with Symbiotes. Any abilities they had were enhanced and each Avenger had their troubles to deal with. Tony was flying high in the sky as he faced creatures hot in her pursuit.
They saw how he spun and dodged in a dogfight as the spiked Dragon roared releasing a sonic boom that struck Tony knocking him off balance. Taking the opportunity, the Symbiote-enhanced Griffin burst into flames and swatted him with a wave of flaming symbiote-infused arrows.
They stuck Tony exploding like missiles which made them worry. They sighed in relief when the explosions subdued as Tony had activated his shielding. Seeing that the two other Dragons retreated before they began to rapidly fly around Tony at hypersonic speeds. They both released huge bursts of fire which began to form a spinning fire tornado with Tony in the middle.
The Griffin flew higher into the sky before it too released a fire breath down into the Fire Tornado. Inside the fire twister, Tony was feeling his suit starting to get superheated.
"Jarvis, cooling systems."
<They are overheating. If you do not get out of this fire funnel, you and the suit will melt in 80 seconds.>
"80? Guess I have to do this. Overload the weapon systems."
Jarvis did as Instructed and once the weapons were overflowing, Tony released that as a giant burst to tear the Tornado open. He then used the moment the twister was reforming to escape.
Once they saw he was free, Balerion, Cannibal. Nergigante and Griffin all roared at him making Iron Man wish he brought a stronger suit. He was throwing everything he had at the moment at these creatures who just tanked his lasers and missiles like they were laser pointers. That was before the Symbiote enhancements and now they were leagues more durable.
Cannibal snarled as the Symbiote began to form biological weapons to imitate Tony. On his wings formed Symbiote Missile launchers that began to fire toward him. Tony cursed as he began to blast those missiles out of the air.
The other monsters began to do the same and they copied his weapons as their Symbiotes adapted and changed to suit their prey. Hulk down below was facing a Symbiote bonded Doomsday and that battle was brutal. The two raging monsters were locked in a slugfest that was devastating everything for miles.
Berlin which was still full of people was experiencing a massive earthquake. The battle was just getting worse as Hulk was getting stronger and madder. Doomsday continued to adapt and grow hotter as a deep blaze began to surge from his body. The heat was starting to get so bad that everything around them was starting to burn.
If the battle didn't end, extremely close Berlin would be destroyed. Even now the city was still surrounded by a blazing fire wall trapping the people inside. Hulk wasn't any better as he was glowing greener and the Gamma Radiation was growing in power as the battle continued. Hulk roared as he rushed toward Doomsday who charged toward him.
Two giants one glowing bright green and one glowing crimson hot. Both pulled their arms back before throwing all their strength into their blows. When their fists clashed an explosion of green and red clashed and exploded outward. Doomsday roared as he pulled his left arm back and extended his knuckle spikes.
He stabbed them into Hulk's left leg causing Hulk to roar in pain and agony. Doomsday grinned as he injected Hulk with a venom that could even hurt a Kryptonian.
He wrenched his claws from Hulk's thigh before landing a brutal uppercut followed by an elbow strike that stabbed a massive spike into Hulk's shoulder. With a roar, Hulk snarled as he grabbed the arm of Doomsday.
"ROCK MAN NOT STRONGER THAN HULK!"
He ripped Doomsday's spiked elbow from his body. Doomsday snarled as he kicked Hulk in the balls causing the green giant to gasp in pain. Hawkeye in the Quuinjet looked away and in that moment Doomsday punched Hulk in the face tossing him away.
With Hulk reeling in pain, Doomsday turned his head to Strange who was blasting Alatreon with his magica once again. The Symbiote-enhanced Black Dragon was holding his ground better, but it was still a losing battle.
The Toxin Symbiote he was bonded with began to pump his body with high-performance-enhancing hormones, Alatreon's mana production spiked, and the Symbiote began forming more biological weapons to aid his host.
Strange was flying around and he waved his hand as he used an extremely high-frequency spell only for the Toxin Symbiote to not react. Samuel had not left that weakness in any of the Symbiotes as that would be a weakness for himself and his pets.
Alatreon braced as Strange waved his hands as more explosive spells were pelting him. The Toxin Symbiote using the bond they shared began to force the elements inside Alatreon's body into balance.
As that happened, Altreon began to glow a deep purple as its energy began to fall into order. Strange felt this was dangerous and was going to put a stop to it, but was forced to teleport away.
The giant Symbiote-bonded Magma Rune Bear has unleashed a wave of mana-infused magma from its mouth toward Strange. When Strange reappeared he was annoyed as he the Dragon he had defeated was even stronger than before.
He turned his head toward the battle between Thor and Samuel which was beyond extreme. Whoever they were facing, his ability to bond with his Monsters had changed everything.
After bonding with the wolf, his strength had risen by several levels allowing him to match Thor blow for blow. A Scorching and Freezing aura continuously bellowed from his body that caused everything around them to turn to ice and fire at the same time.
Just as he was going to decide what to do, Doomsday roared as a pair of wings emerged from his back. He flew high into the sky toward him while releasing powerful Heat Vision blasts toward him.
He waved his hand causing the Eye Of Agamoto to begin to open. He created a potent barrier around himself allowing him to ignore Doomsday for a moment.
"Fine."
As Doomsday reached Strange, Strange waved his hand and blasted the creature with a blast potent enough to destroy the planet. He angled it to the sky to avoid the Moon or anything in the way.
Doomsday's Symbiote having bonded to Doomsday himself had taken in the resilience of his host. Doomsday, seemed to grin as he roared and punched the Barrier of Strange cracking his barrier.
Just as Doomsday was going to focus on tearing Strange out of his shield, Hulk who had recovered from Doomsday's low blow lept into the air and landed a punch to his midsection.
"HULK ANGRY!"
Hulk dragged Doomsday back down as they began to spin around punching and kicking each other. Strange turned to Samuel who rushed toward Thor who put his strength into his hammer.
Rather than dodge, Samuel braced allowing Mjolnir to slam into his left shoulder. He felt the scales covering his body crack as boiling freezing blood spilled out. His reinforced bones cracked and his muscles seemed to be pulped.
He didn't let the pain distract him as he grabbed his greatsword and he stabbed it through Thor's right hip. The Asgardian felt the blade pierce through his hip joint effectively severing his right leg to his hip.
Thor using his free hand grabbed Samuel by the throat not allowing the pain of being stabbed through to bother him.
"It will take more than a stabbing to put me down."
Samuel raised his left leg and he kicked Thor in the balls. That made Thor gasp, so Samuel teleported away while taking a deep breath. He waved his left arm as his arm healed in moments back to its prime.
When he teleported he took his sword so Thor began to regenerate from the stab. However, the God Slayer Curse of Fenrir that had been applied made healing far slower.
Samuel knew if things kept up like this, Strange and Thor would be the biggest dangers to him. Knowing what Strange could do had left him rather helpless.
"Fuck."
Thor stood proud as he didn't let the pain slow him.
"Regeretting your actions?"
"No, I have no regret, I just wish you guys weren't so annoying. I didn't expect my first trip out of seclusion to have the Avengers at my door."
"So you are a Time Traveler it appears. You admit it don't you."
"If that makes you sleep better at night, I will."
Strange turned to Thor with a tired look on his face.
"Thor, focus."
Samuel shook his head as he slammed his right foot into the ground causing his shadow to begin to expand. Thor braced as he wondered what kind of monster Samuel was going to make this time.
"What manner of creature will you send against us?"
Samuel smiled as from his shadow began to emerge a titanic crimson dragon that was so large it made all other of his Dragons seem small by comparison.
"I present to you, Slifer The Sky Dragon."
Once Slifer was fully out of the shadows, he was titanic over 750 meters long and when he spread out his wings he bloated out the sun. With a roar that shook the land, lightning golden lightning began to thunder from the sky as if to challenge Thor himself.
Samuel took a deep breath as he had wanted to make this guy for a while. Slifer flew into the sky before he opened his second mouth and he began to charge up a dark purple blast.
Thor and Strange braced for impact, but Slifer moved his head and blasted a massive orb of destruction to Berlin a city of over 4 million people. Samuel began to laugh as he recalled all his monsters.
All of them returned to his shadow as he teleported away to safety. Strange rather than stop him flew to save the city of Berlin from Slifer's blast. While the Avengers and Strange fought to save the city, Samuel reappeared in his Alaska home.
When he appeared he was still fused with Fenrir and Fatalis so he released his fusion allowing the two monsters to breathe easily. His shadow the rest of his dragons and monsters emerged from his shadow allowing him to fall on his ass exhausted.
"Fuck, motherfucking Avengers. Why didn't that god tell me he sent me to Marvel? Who doesn't just tell you where the fuck you are at?"
He lay down surrounded by his monsters who waited for him to get up.
"You know what? Fuck them, no more mister nice guy. I need to get to the future. To do that I will either need to create that can tear open Time Portals or make creatures so smart they can do the same. Either way, fuck this period and fuck The Avengers.
That or, leave Earth."
Samuel was quite pissed, but more so at himself for not figuring out he was in Marvel.
