章 13: 13. Dinner Together
The sound insulation should have been pretty good in this apartment.
But the two of them were noisy in the living room, so it was inevitable that Dylan could still hear their laughter in the opposite room's living room. He looked at the door helplessly.
The two girls really couldn't stay quiet.
Soon, it was time for dinner and Anna kicked Lucy out. It was enough playing for the day and Mark will chase after her if she kept on hogging Lucy for herself.
Anna looked at her refrigerator and finally packed a large beef and ran to Dylan's apartment.
"What do you want to make?" Dylan laughed when he saw Anna carried a lot of meat. "You know that I have food here, right?"
"That's different~. Since I'm going to eat at your place, I should at least bring my own ingredients." Anna raised the large beef meat in her hand. Anyway, she had a lot of them in her space and after looking at them, they didn't spoil at all, so the space should have the preservation function.
Because of that, Anna was not worried about lack of food.
She still has to find work in the future to support the bills cost and so on, though. It would be unrealistic for her to rely on the things inside her space for the rest of her life.
Unless she wanted to live a hermit like life.
That would be impossible.
She didn't want to stay in remote areas for a long period of time.
"Alright, Sister Anna." Dylan laughed and then led Anna to the kitchen.
The kitchen was very clean but there were still trace of use. Unlike the kitchen in Anna's place that clearly looked brand new and had never been used before the past few days when she experimented with it.
"What are you going to make?" Anna asked curiously.
"How about steak?" Dylan asked.
"Ok, you teach me."
"Yes, Sister~."
Dylan was very good at cooking because he has been living by himself for a long period of time. If he couldn't cook, it would be very miserable for him to have to rely on the cook outside.
It would also be quite high on the budget.
Before long, the steak was done.
Dylan also made the sauce and Anna had to say that it looked very delicious. Her eyes couldn't leave the steak at all.
"Come on and eat?" Dylan asked with a laugh.
"Um. Thank you for the food~." Anna happily dig in to the food.
Dylan watched Anna eat happily and also smiled. "I'm glad Sister like it~."
The two of them ate happily, enjoying the rare dinner of two people. In the middle of the dinner, Dylan stood up and made his way to the bedroom.
"What are you doing?" Anna was curious but didn't follow. She didn't want to enter a man's bedroom.
"I'm taking Kitty out." Dylan took out a white cat from his bedroom. The cat was squirming unhappily. He was clearly not very happy from being disturbed by Dylan when he was sleeping.
"Kitty!" Anna's eyes sparkled.
"Meow!" The white cat looked in Anna's direction and meowed happily. The squirming motion changed from going back to the bedroom to Anna's direction.
Dylan watched helplessly as Kitty ran to Anna's embrace and she picked him up happily.
This white eyed wolf cat always liked Anna more than him.
Who fed him in the first place?
