章 16: Chapter 16.

I don't know what to write so I'm writing this.

After taking everything from the marine base she went outside through the back door which was locked however the keys were there at the table. She never thought that stealing from a marine base could become this easy in her whole life.

She has packed the money in her bag which she has hanged in her right hand while the jewellery was in a bag. She didn't know whom to give the bag of jewellery because that person could take it for him or her and might not even give it to the other owners of this jewellery.

She finally made her mind that she would give it to the owner of that pub. They have seen the horror of the marines. So they would not take it all for themselves. They both were good compared to the others she had met before in this town.

She also has to meet Luffy for the deal he had made for her. She couldn't see anything in the deal which might affect her in the long term. Well, she was getting free money because all she had to do was navigate which is her area of expertise.

She started to walk towards the pub while ignoring the commotion which was happening behind her and the crowd didn't pay attention to her either. Otherwise, they would have noticed the two bags which she was carrying with her.

When she reached the door of the pub, she heard the voice of the mother and daughter who were saying thank you to someone. Nami didn't step inside the pub because she wanted to hear more of what had happened before.

Nami heard them say how they all saved her and the daughter of her. The more Nami listened to them the more she became happy because she has not joined a crew who only knew how to rob the innocent. She still has that hatred for the pirates and it would not go away that easily either.

She was happy because she wouldn't have to worry about them robbing the innocent or worst assaulting or killing the innocents. She knows the fear of getting attacked by some pirates after all. It has happened with her village when she was just a little girl.

After some thinking, she finally stepped into the pub making everyone look at the door again. When she went inside everyone was looking at her than her bag before continuing their work which was to eat their ordered meal.

The one whom she wanted to see was sitting on the table which was in a corner for some reason. There seem to be other people with him. She has seen all of them though in the past by some incidents.

The woman who was sitting around the right seat of Luffy was Makino who was his lover if she was guessing correct because of the signs they were giving to her and they acted as a couple in front of her so.

The person who was sitting around the left chair of Luffy was the guy who was tied in the grounds of the base of the marines. She has heard about him in the past. His name is Zoro because he was quite famous as a pirate hunter in the east blue.

The person who was sitting in front of Luffy was the guy who was working under Alvida as her slave. His name was Coby if she had heard correct on the ship. He might be saved by Luffy from that ship.

And the last person was actually on the table. She was that little girl who she saw many times in the day. The girl was in constant danger and was saved by them.

"I was wondering when would you step in Nami"

Luffy said while eating his food. Even though he was quite far away but his voice was coming to her place without any issue.

Nami suddenly realised that he knew from the start that she was listening to them which made her face go red in embarrassment. Seeing her face they all let out a chuckle before laughing fully.

Nami slowly went to their table before sitting beside Coby who was eating his face with a serious look. She could not guess what he was thinking.

"I have finally decided to join your crew for some time Luffy however do remember your deal"

Nami said while ordering her food. The little girl took her order and went to her mom side before telling her the order.

"I would not forget my promise Nami. Just remember yours who knows that you might even like our crew and would want to stay here joining in our adventure".

Luffy said while taking another bite of his meal.

"Are you not gonna introduce me to your crew Luffy?"

Nami asked Luffy while resting her head on the palm of her hand which she has put on the table. It made her look quite cute in Luffy opinion though he didn't comment on it.

"You already know me and Makino and he is Zoro who would travel with us from now on".

Luffy gave her a lazy reply which made her mad for some reason.

'I was right. He gets under my skin too easily. Just he waits I would not back down either

Nami thought in her mind.

Luffy looked at Nami who for some reason has gone quiet though she was showing a foolish smile outside which made Zoro scared because he didn't want to be with a woman who is not mentally sane.

After this small incident, Nami food came. They started eating while talking to each other. It was Makino and Nami who was talking to themselves. It was their famous girls talk which made Zoro bored and he slept between the conversation while Coby went to the bathroom.

They both were talking about many things and we're including Luffy who was more than happy to talk to them. Their talk continued for some time before Nami told them about the issue of jewellery. Luffy and Makino agreed with her decision to leave that bag to the owner of this pub.

Luffy didn't say anything about the other bag though Nami did tell him about the money she took from the marine base. Makino laughed at how easy was it to rob a marine base.

After finishing their respective meals they paid the bill while giving the bag to the mother of a little girl who became happy. She thanked them again before telling them she would return it to the owner of this jewellery.

Coby after some came with some marines who were fearing for their life because they have seen how terrifying the straw hat boy is. They don't want to be in the hospital just like their captain Morgan who is suffering so much.

Still one of them showed some confidence before saying

" We need you all to leave this town pirates!"

The group looked at the marine which made him nervous.
