章 45: Why is Nick Fury at my wedding.
But there was a silver lining!
Emma got the blueprints and butchered the phone severely, only making a few fully capable ones for her, Viktor, Tony, Pepper, Natalie, and Matt.
The butchered blueprints were put into production in the Frost International factories.
Emma took complete control over Frost International and changed everything. Mars was copied from the house and brought over to the Frost compound to handle production affairs while Emma started wrangling shares from the stakeholders.
She was extremely busy at the moment, annexing the board of directors from the start and cooperating with Pepper.
The Nexus Cell was simply the best phone on Earth and blew the competition out of the water completely. It wasn't even a contest. The rest collapsed.
Emma even reverse engineered the Computer Towers from the house and butchered them as well, putting them, the monitors, keyboards, mouses, etc into production.
She upgraded all their other items as well.
This was mainly with Pepper and Tony's help as they joined hands on the project. Frost International actually built ships and aircrafts. Particularly freight and passenger vehicles. It was also an electronics company but Emma scrapped all their previous electronics, selling them off without a care as she introduced the new ones.
With Tony's help, they directly advanced all their products by dozens of years.
Submarines, Freighters, Cruise ships, Passenger Airplanes, Cargo planes, etc.
Viktor called Rhodes and directly got the military involved, selling ships and planes to them. Rhodes agreed instantly and got quite a lot of prestige for 'closing the deal'.
Emma heard this and was ecstatic, taking over the business side instantly.
While all this was happening, Viktor was in charge of the Wedding preparations. Matt was also invited.
Viktor took care of most of it while adding one comic and manga after the other.
He even swapped out the model for a real Iron Man suit.
Since he could fly, he basically butchered the suit to only be a prop. But it was a real prop!
Tony made an appearance when he heard the Comic was ready and it caused a sensation in New York.
Not only that but Tony started building Stark Tower in New York!
Viktor suddenly had his hands full, on the phone for most of the day, talking to buyers for comic shops around the US and Canada.
He almost never had time for the clinic which made him quite upset.
Despite everything, he still very much enjoyed being a doctor.
Unfortunately, time didn't allow him to be in 4000 places at once…
He even hired a shop clerk for the Comic Shop and a receptionist for the Clinic.
Everything started to look more professional, much to Viktor's dismay.
But what could he do?
He had to make money, building a university cost a lot of money, you know!
Not to mention, the upkeep alone!
Matt was tied to the pirate ship directly, handling the law side of various things despite his insistence that he wasn't a company lawyer.
Viktor told him 'You learn something new everyday' and threw him into the fire without a care.
At any rate, Matt really did a great job.
Little Devil just suits this guy too much. He was a little ruthless!
Something surprising did happen and Viktor was attacked in an alley by an assassin.
Viktor could figure out who sent it with his toes, but he didn't do anything. Just butchered the assassin, leaving him chopped up in the alley.

Chopped up for real!
There was even a criminal investigation and everything.
Viktor didn't say anything as though it never happened.
He knew his father-in-law wasn't a good person but he didn't really care too much.
He couldn't hurt him anyway.
More assassins showed up one after the other, but they were all butchered cleanly without any evidence.
The police deemed the murderer a serial killer and hoped to get any info at all about them.
How could Viktor even leave a trace? It was simply impossible, plus these assassins didn't attack in broad daylight, they chose their graves very well.
Very quickly, a year passed just like this.
Viktor was currently clenching and unclenching his fists as he stood at an altar in a church, sweating nervously.
Next to him, Tony pursed his lips and chuckled silently. Matt and Rhodes were there too, watching everything with smiles.
After all, wouldn't it be too embarrassing to only have 1 Groomsman?
Matt was fine but Rhodey was simply here to fill up numbers.
It was unclear if he knew or not, but he didn't disagree. Viktor and him had some friendship, not as deep as Matt and Tony but it wasn't too bad.
Viktor also saw Emma's brother and sister, Christian and Cordelia in the crowd. Though he didn't see Adrienne.
The only reason he knew what they looked like is because Emma showed him pictures. Otherwise, he would've been looking for 2D drawings…
Unfortunately, Viktor also spotted a black man, and a balding guy in the crowd. Not to mention, 'Natalie' was a bridesmaid!
Viktor was very upset about this.
Nick Fury, the black man in charge of SHIELD, had shown up at the Clinic more than once during this past year, but Viktor always dodged him with Company affairs.
Miss Natasha Romanoff, AKA Natalie, sold him out after he saved her life, which didn't make Viktor feel too good.
Of course, Tony told him right away.
Tony really didn't care at all.
Natasha looked apologetic though and even came over before the wedding to apologize.
Although Viktor accepted, he was a bit miffed by the situation.
Who cared what he thought though?
At this moment, everyone stood up and Emma walked down the aisle, holding her Mother's arm.
As for why she wasn't holding her Father's arm, well the main reason was that he didn't even show up.
Secondly, Emma would rather walk by herself than have him 'send her off'.
And so, her mother stepped up.
