"I see you have brought your entertainment with you." he said, referring to Karen, and I got angry because he knew she was my mate.

"I will not tolerate you insulting my mate simply because you are my uncle. Your behaviour towards your luna in inexcusable." I warned him, and he looked surprised.

"Does your mother know about this?" he asked.

"Yes and she is onboard." I replied, and he seemed baffled.

"Did she tell you what happened to my brother Joseph?" He asked, and I nodded.

"Yes she did and Karen and I will not end up that way." I assured him, and he laughed.

"Humans do not have the capacity to be loyal." He cautioned me.

"Well, that should be my problem to worry about," I told him, and he nodded.

"Either way, she can't be here. Humans are not allowed in wolf settlements." He warned me.

"Or else what?" I asked, and he became mad.
