Although they'd done it backwards, against the traditional standards of the first night of marriage, whereby Aila was not a virgin, nor was it their first night together. Aila was still nervous. 

Nervous like this really was the first night spent together. It technically was.. as a married couple.

"Don't go trashing this one," Aila joked as she stopped before the bed.

Damon followed after her and started kissing the side of her neck, his hands on either side of her waist. She could already feel the heated tension and his hardness straining against his trousers, prodding into her back.
