On getting home, I excused myself to go take my bath while Damien went to make me breakfast, pancakes to be precise.

While in the bathroom, I reminisced about how long it has been since I've sex, realizing it's been over three months, I couldn't help but commend myself for staying that long without sex, especially when I know how sexually active I was before going celibate.

After I took my bath and dressed up, I went downstairs to see Damien on a call while Claire was standing in front of him like a cute little curious girl who you'd want to give all your candy with the puppy eye she was making to Damien.

The first thing that came to my mind on seeing them was was 'How did I get into all this? How did I adapt so easily around this people? How did I fall so in love with not just my mate but also his people? Just how?'
