章 50: Chapter - 48 Room of Requirements

On Saturday afternoon William, Cedric, and Cho abandoned their homework and departed from the castle towards Hagrid's hut.
The Hut has gone through a lot of changes the outside was reinforced witch Circles of fences making it like a maze.
Hagrid, the culprit, had sketched a map for them to travel through the fence.
Bloody good it did, as Hagrid sucks at drawing still william managed to enter before circling around several times.
As William knocked on the door, dramatic sounds started coming from behind the door, accompanied by three low-pitched barks.
Soon after, Hagrid's voice boomed, "Stay back, Fluffy, Stay back!"
The door creaked open a fraction, revealing Hagrid's towering, bearded face.
"Just a moment," he called out. " Stay back, Fluffy."
Hagrid swung the door wider, welcoming the three of them inside while still desperately holding the collar of a massive black hound.
Hagrid's hut had undergone a drastic transformation. The once-hanging ham and pheasants were absent, replaced by a collection of thick books:
"The Cerebus Breeds of Great Britain and Ireland," "The Cerebus - From Birth to Pregnancy and Death," and "The Cerebus' Guide to Tubic Tomy."
Apart from these books, nothing in the house was intact. The large bed in the corner was on the ground, its four legs broken, leaving it grounded.
The broken wood had a row of unmistakable dog teeth marks.
The house was a mess, every thing was torn up all over. Nothing had been left intact Fluffy had completely wrecked Hagrid's hut.
Fluffy could be said to be a home Wrecker.
But that was probably not the most surprising thing as the another boy, Charlie Weasley, was there too.
Charlie and Hagrid were good pals, and both were crazy about furries.. cough ...magical creatures, I meant magical creature's.
Hagrid moved five stools and sat down by himself.
Looking around, Cho asked, "Where's Fang?"
Hagrid sighed heavily, saying, "I left Fang near the Forbidden Forest. He prefers it there than staying at home with Fluffy."
Fluffy had grown taller than Fang. A while back, it had also snatched Fang's treats, causing him to fear the three-headed monster.
Not only was Fluffy large, but he was also becoming more and more menacing. His three heads drooled, making him look especially terrifying.
"You need to set Fluffy free," Cedric suggested. "Just let it go."
"I can't," Hagrid lamented. "It's only six months old; it's still a pup!"
"..."
"Hagrid, the three-headed dog's grow quickly with this rate, it'll match the height of your cabin in under a year," remarked Charlie.
"Remember, it's not confirmed if Professor Snape attacked the Ministry of Magic. But what if the Aurors return and find Fluffy here?" he added.
Hagrid gazed at Fluffy with tears welling in his eyes. Fluffy's heads were still tearing into the furry toy Hagrid had crafted for him.
"Then where do we place it?" Hagrid finally relented.
"The Forbidden Forest?" Cho suggested.
"No," Hagrid shook his head firmly. "I have inquired about the creatures in the Forbidden Forest, and the centaurs made it clear that if we placed Fluffy there, they'd kill him!"
Admittedly, the three-headed dog will be highly effective in combat when he's grown, but for now, he's just a menacing pup but a pup nonetheless.
The solution might seem straightforward-simply inform Dumbledore. However, Hagrid hesitated to tell the headmaster.
Though William suspected Dumbledore already knew about the situation.
"Maybe we could house Fluffy in Hogwarts Castle," Charlie suggested tentatively.
"I know it grows rapidly, but if we can get through this year, I'll graduate.
Then, I can take Fluffy to Romania where I'm heading to study dragons. They might be prohibited here, but not there."
Surprise filled the room as everyone looked at Charlie.
Professor McGonagall had labeled Charlie as a Quidditch genius.
And it was no exaggeration. Charlie had shown his exceptional talent when he joined the Gryffindor's in his second year.
Charlie's great talent and skills were seen during the final that year, He caught the Golden Snitch within a 15 minutes, single-handedly marking the Gryffindor's triumphant victory after a five-year gap.
Despite the team losing four years in a row and not winning the quidditch cup,
Charlie's talent remained undeniable; it was more about the team's lack of skill and performance than his own skills.
Nearly every wizard who had seen Charlie's gameplay definitely thoughts he would be joining the national team next year after graduation.
Rumors even suggested that the England national team had already contacted him and even offered a signing bonus.
But hearing Charlie's decision to head to Romania for his studies about the
dragons next year was met with shock among the group.
Grinningly he explained, "Don't give me that look. I've played Quidditch for six years now, counting this last one.
And as much as I love the game, I'm craving some different adventures and thrills that can really get my heart racing."
Standing up, he affectionately patted Fluffy's head, prompting the creature to obediently lie down, resembling making the duo look like denji and Makima.
Charlie chuckled, "I'm not the kind of wizard who thrives on routine. I loathe predictability!
Everyone assumes that I'm destined for the Quidditch team, and sometimes, even I imagine that when I am alone at night.
But that predictability of my future isn't really what I crave and want.
Plus, I've got a soft spot for all the magical creatures and specially dragons.
So, one day, I asked myself, why not try becoming a caretaker for dragons, everyday would be fun and unpredictable ? It's that simple."
William and Cedric glanced at Charlie with astonishment. Such straightforwardness were the qualities that you can only expect from a true Gryffindor.
Hagrid, his expression mirroring Professor McGonagall's seriousness, finally asked, "Have you talked to Arthur and Molly about this?"
Charlie paused for a moment, then nodded, "I spoke to my dad. He advised me to wait a bit before telling Mum. He said he'd find the right moment..."
Hagrid sighed deeply, "Aye, just like your brother Bill, who suddenly decided to head off to Egypt.
A brilliant lad, he got 12 O.W.Ls, and everyone expected him to join the Ministry of Magic.
Molly was broken-hearted about it, and now you, going off to Romania, so far away."
Charlie mustered a faint smile, "It's alright. Mum will eventually come around it. And It's not like I'm never coming back."
Hagrid fell silent. As much as he loved and cherished magical creatures, but there was one thing that he loves more then them and that was home it held an even more special place in his heart then them.
Hagrid's love for dragons was undeniable, but he will never advice nor persuade Charlie to go to Romania for studying about them.
Hogwarts was hagrids home, this was were he belonged,
leaving this place for the dragons was out of the question for him.
This place was his home.
He can never leave it for the magical creatures.
So Naturally, Hagrid often brought those adorable cute creatures to Hogwarts.
In a moment of quiet, Charlie tried to lighten the mood, "Let's keep this between us, especially don't tell George and Fred about this."
William, Cedric, and Cho quickly nodded in agreement.
"Now, let's steer away from my story and focus on Fluffy's problem," Charlie suggested.
"Fluffy absolutely can not stay here any longer. We need an extremely hidden and big place for him that is easily accessible as well for Fluffy.
And I've got just the place in mind—the Room of Requirement."
