"Is it okay to digress a little and ask you a more personal question?" The interviewer asked Maria Wesley. They were currently on live TV the next morning, talking about business, but she knew this talk was inevitable, so she gave the young man the go-ahead to ask the questions he wanted to. 

"Sure. If it's something I'm okay with answering, I'd answer your question." She assured him, making the young man beam like he had just won the lottery. No one had first-hand information about the entire rumor circulating. If he was able to squeeze something out of Maria, wouldn't that make him a legend? 

"Thank you. According to hearsay, Jeremy Williams, who happened to be related to the Hanks, is your godson. Is that correct?" He asked as if they were currently having an interrogation. 

"That is true." Maria nodded.
