章 54: Chapter 54 Changes in the Situation

The battlefield was chaotic, and even the smartest people couldn't predict everything that would happen. There's something called "God's Will" in the world that messes with everything, turning good things bad and making non-cruel people cruel. It's like a playwright watching the world's tragedies and suffering from above.

Just as the team was ready, a figure appeared on the city wall of Belobog.

"Uncle Yang!"

It was none other than Welt. His gray-black coat wasn't burned, his glasses were intact, and even his cane was unbroken.

From the outside, Welt looked fine, and it seemed like he had won a big fight! But was that really true? As he stood before the Astral Express crew, a small trickle of blood came from the corner of Welt's mouth, even though his eyes were tightly closed.

"Uncle Yang! Are you hurt?" March 7th and the others rushed over, and a medic from the Silvermane Guard also hurried over with a first-aid kit.

"No need," Welt said as he sat on the city wall, his voice steady as usual, raising his hand to stop the medic.

"My injuries aren't serious," Welt said, sounding a bit weak. "But I have something more important to tell you."

In the eager eyes of Geppard, March 7th, and Stelle, Welt said something that could shake anyone's spirit.

"The stellaron's incarnation can't be killed."

"Huh?!"

Everyone was shocked. If anyone else had said this, they might not have believed it, but coming from Welt, it meant that the stellaron's so-called "immortality" was real and very dangerous.

"But you must have a plan since you came back here." Cocolia's voice came from a shadow on the city wall. She was inside her machine with a creation engine above her head. By merging with the mech, her powers grew, letting her do things she couldn't before.

"That's right," Welt said with determination. "It's not so much that it can't be killed, but that it keeps coming back."

"Coming back?" Stelle asked, confused.

"When we attacked before, the recovery power it showed wasn't even its limit." Welt pushed up his glasses and recalled the battle.

Near the Everwinter Hill, two figures twisted, broke down, and reshaped the ancient land.

Welt unleashed a massive gravity wave, covering the entire dragon's body. Even though it was a move seen many times, on Welt's level, it was different from Orion's.

"Ten thousand times gravity."

There was a cold, ruthless look in his eyes. Although Welt didn't say it out loud, he didn't hold back against the creature that hurt his friends.

The dragon's body was enormous, but a big body also means a big burden. In nature, creatures usually don't grow too large because they don't have bones strong enough to support their own weight, no matter how tough they are. Even though the dragon had a body beyond the material world, it couldn't escape gravity.

The powerful gravity distorted the light around it, and dark energy swallowed everything. The hard mountains shattered, and deep grooves formed in the thick earth.

Such a strong attack should have seriously hurt the dragon, right? But when they looked at the dragon's face, all they saw was boredom.

"I've seen this trick too many times. Don't you humans have anything new?"

Without even moving, four ancient forces burst from the dragon.

"Perun's lightning, Jarilo-VI's spring earth, Morana's cold wind, Svarog's sky fire."

These powers came from the ancient myth of the planet Jarilo-VI. The four forces of wind, fire, and lightning combined, symbolizing the four seasons and the beginning of all things.

The barrier formed by these forces covered the Dragon of Eternal Winter, pushing back the gravity.

Yes, it was a rejection.

Like how Jarilo-VI's natural gravity resists invasion, Welt's gravity was countered by the planet's own forces.

After the attack failed, Welt frowned deeply—not because his attack didn't work, but because he recognized the energy in the stellaron's move.

"Turning mythical and imaginary things into reality—how did you do it, Orion?"

This power to turn memories and fantasies into reality should have belonged to Orion.

But now, the stellaron showed the same power as Orion. Did it steal Orion's power, or was it that Orion's body or soul now lives in...

"Orion's body or soul?"

This was Welt's guess, but whatever the truth, he couldn't stop now.

"You don't think this is my limit, do you?" Welt said sarcastically. He wasn't usually one to mock, but against such an enemy, he had no reason to hold back.

The Dragon of Eternal Winter's bored expression couldn't last any longer as it watched the black stars shatter before its eyes.

Back on the towering city wall, Welt stood before the group as he recounted his battle with the Stellaron.

"Here's how it unfolded," Welt began, his voice steady but heavy with concern. "I shattered its form more than once—several times, in fact. Each time, I watched its body crumble, only to witness it reassemble itself with unnatural speed. I believe it has fused its essence with the planet's core energy. It's not just a physical entity anymore; it's tied to the planet itself. Unless we find a way to completely destroy the elemental force it embodies, we won't stand a chance of defeating it."

He paused for a moment, glancing toward the distant cityscape of Belobog. "And if I were to unleash a power strong enough to obliterate the planet's energy, the city of Belobog wouldn't survive the fallout."

His expression tightened as he delivered the news. "So, for the next phase of my plan..."
