The form of light appeared on Orion, and his size instantly increased from 6 feet to over 160 feet. Bright red appeared on the surface of his body, and Orion transformed into a powerful energy form.
He let out a mighty battle cry, and his massive fist charged toward the stellaron with earth-shattering momentum.
"I don't understand what you have become, but it is futile," the stelleron said, showing no fear at all. Although Orion's current form was intimidating, no matter how flashy it looked, his essence was still made of mental power.
The mental power of both of them was equal, so it wasn't afraid of any attack. Expanding to over 160 feet tall, a giant made of blue crystals rose from the ground, resembling the "Titan" it had created before.
With a thunderous sound, the two fists collided, and where they met, the impact caused severe damage to the surroundings.
Every move from these two giants caused the space behind them to tremble. However, this time, the stellaron that was supposed to be evenly matched was knocked back by Orion's blow.
"How is this possible? We used the same level of mental power, so why was I the one knocked back?"
"Bring it on!" Orion raised his right arm and clenched his fist, sunlight converging into a single point. Each punch was stronger and more forceful than the last.
When Orion transformed into the form of a giant of light, a divine brilliance naturally radiated from him, increasing his combat power by 20%.
New abilities maifested in Orion. Facing opponents like the stelleron, who were inherently against humanity, Orion could tap into power he never had before.
The two fists clashed again, and the crystal arm of the giant formed by the stellaron began to crack at the point of contact. The cracks spread upward, and with a loud bang, half of the arm shattered into fragments that scattered everywhere.
"No, I can't fight him like this." The stellaron disassembled the crystal giant and dodged Orion's blow in mid-air. The stelleron transformed into a giant python, longer than a mountain range. The snake's body coiled around Orion, trying to squeeze the giant of light in two.
Orion reacted quickly. Before the snake could tighten its grip, he turned into a beam of light and flew into the sky, transforming again.
A dark shadow blocked the sunlight, and a golden-winged eagle covered in gold feathers spread its wings wide in the sky. The eagle swooped down, its sharp claws aimed precisely at the giant snake's weak spot, diving like a hunter.
The giant snake felt naturally uncomfortable. Its body coiled up and hardened into a massive object. The sound of metal and stone echoed from the sharp claws scraping together.
Looking closer, a mountain-sized stone figure hugged its chest and tucked its head, forming a sphere, making it impossible for Orion to attack.
With a glint in its eye, another idea came to Orion. The giant eagle shape transformed into a golden sword of the same size, which was effortlessly driven into the stone figure's body.
"Ah!"
This sword had a golden hilt, interlaced with the blue of a lake. Written on the sword in elven script was, "Whoever pulls out this sword will be the king of all the land." This sword was famously known as "The Sword in the Stone."
The insertion of the sword caused the stone figure to crumble, and the stellaron couldn't understand why Orion's attack was so effective.
Dragons and snakes rose from the ground, and swords and stones intertwined. In the following moments, they kept changing into different forms, but no matter what the stellaron transformed into, Orion could always find an unexpected form to counter it.
"Idiot," the stelleron sneered to herself. Orion seemed to have the upper hand, but constant transformations require energy to maintain. Moreover, with Orion's wild imagination, his energy consumption would only be greater than the stelleron's.
In its own mental realm, the stellaron was originally an immortal existence, but Orion's current actions were throwing away his only chance to win.
"I'm the one who will win in the end!"
Seeing the "satisfied" mental fluctuations in the opponent's mind, Orion remained calm and continued what the stelleron considered a "foolish act."
As he felt his mental strength gradually weaken, Orion smiled with satisfaction.
"Almost there. It's time."
Both returned to their human forms, this time with a shadowy figure standing behind them. Many Fists crossed, and a vague sound like "ora ora ora" could be heard faintly.
"Orion, Orion, sometimes I have to admire you humans. You know you can't win, yet you still act and resist futilely." The figure's facial features were clearer, and his tone carried more human emotion than before.
"What is the point of resisting if you are just going to lose anyway? Hahaha!" The stelleron's tone turned manic as it scratched its face hard, mocking Orion.
"How can you know if you don't try?" Orion replied, his face mocking, not concerned about his disadvantage.
Meanwhile, the spiritual realm had shifted back to how it was initially. Behind the stellaron, most of the world was dyed in color, while on Orion's side, the quiet white light was just a tiny bit larger than before—a trivial increase.
"Stupid, stupid, stupid!" The stelleron's voice grew louder, its emotions spiraling out of control.
The figure behind him sped up and attacked relentlessly, forcing Orion back to more than six feet away.
The area belonging to Orion was shrinking, and the corners of the stelleron's mouth lifted in a grin. The stelleron was already imagining how to fulfill his long-cherished wish once it used Orion as a vessel.
"My long-cherished wish? What is it?..."
For a moment, a wave of fear washed over the stellaron, and the stellaron looked down at its chest. A hole the size of a bowl had been punched through its chest, right where his heart was, and he hadn't noticed it at all.
"Finally noticed?" The calm voice sounded so hateful. The stelleron looked up at Orion. Under his half-white hair, his eyes showed only one emotion:
Pity.
It was a kind of pity for the stelleron, an emotion that the stelleron could never forgive.
"Orion!" the stelleron roared. Even though it didn't know what Orion had done, he was exhausted and could never be its match.
A nearly solid golden figure emerged from the stelleron's body, breaking Orion's last line of defense with a single punch. The fist stopped just an inch from Orion's head.
It wasn't because Orion had any backup plan, but because of a single word spoken by the infuriating man in front of him.
"Do you want to know the reason for your change?" Orion's tone was gentle.
His attitude was completely different from before, more like the stelleron's attitude toward Orion at the beginning.
"I'll let you live a little longer, human," the stelleron said. Faced with Orion's superior attitude, the stelleron was far from pleased, but this human couldn't fight back, so letting him talk a bit more didn't hurt.
Orion, unbothered, pointed to the sky and said, "Look around you."
"What's wrong with the surroundings?" The stelleron looked at the sky, and his pupils shrank as if he saw something ominous.
When Orion first arrived, the area transformed by the stellaron symbolized the perfect blend of the planet's natural will and divinity—quiet, pure, and flawless.
Now, above the stellaron, a torrent of colors filled the sky, turning it into a chaotic palette.
"Are these my emotions?" Uncertainty gripped the stelleron. The swirling colors of emotions before it were so muddled and so... disgusting!
"No, these are my emotions," Orion said, his white eyes gleaming with the wisdom of one who held all the cards.
In his original plan, Orion had not expected to kill the Stellaron. His minimum goal was to detonate a divine key at its maximum power after the Stellaron entered his body, ensuring they both died together.
When he abandoned his physical body, the power of his memories was far stronger than expected, but he knew he couldn't control it immediately. At that moment, another plan came to mind.
Orion injected all his life's "memories" into his skyrocketing spiritual power. In this spiritual realm, all depths of spiritual power had already been "marked" by Orion.
When the Stellaron was forced to absorb Orion's power to protect itself, it fell into Orion's trap.
Whether he turned into a giant of light or fought using shadows, it was all just Orion's way of buying time.
The real target was a place that has been forgotten: reality. Even though Orion Astra and the Stellaron fought fiercely in the spiritual world, Orion's plans had already been set in motion in reality.
"When your whole being is filled with the 'human emotions' you despise," Orion said playfully, with a glimmer of interest in his eyes. "Stellaron, how do you feel now? How does it feel?"
"You! You... you!" Too embarrassed to form a complete sentence, the Stellaron had only one thought: "Kill him, kill the man in front of you who ruined your space."
A powerful attack surged toward Orion. He calmly placed his hands behind his back and left his final words in the spiritual world: "Goodbye, fool." Orion's figure suddenly vanished, returning to reality.
The familiar cold wind gently blew across Orion's face. He closed his eyes with satisfaction.
His physical body, in reality, had long been destroyed. He was only a spirit in reality and could only last a few moments. Orion was truly about to disappear from this world, both physically and mentally.
Even with the massive power boost, Orion's spirit remained unchanged. His spiritual form became more and more transparent, and Orion stretched his hand, wanting to grasp something one last time.
But nothing could be held onto; nothing could be taken away. In the final moments of life, everyone is alone.
"Orion!" the Stellaron's figure appeared in reality. After receiving Orion's emotions, the Stellaron essentially had a vessel. Fueled by boundless rage, the Stellaron was ready to fight to the death.
"You have no right to interrupt my thoughts," Orion said, casually waving his hand as if swatting away a mosquito, disregarding the appearance of the stellaron.
As the stellaron's hand was about to touch Orion, something the stellaron had always forgotten came into play. The gravitational tear affected the Stellaron. Looking up, the familiar sight made the Stellaron tremble with fear: a black hole, left behind when Orion destroyed his body.
"No, no! I don't want to go back!" Without the courage to control everything in the spiritual world, the Stellaron was just wanting to live.
It was no use. Orion's spiritual mark left on the Stellaron made it like a bright light drawn to the black hole's pull. After all, Orion had only given the black hole one command from the beginning: "Destroy me."
The intense gravitational force that can destroy anything precisely pulls the stellaron into it.
Even if he manages to escape into the spiritual realm again, the power of the black hole will relentlessly pursue him, targeting the "Orion's mark" in the Stellaron and ultimately sealing it for now.
The Stellaron is now bound here and can no longer pose a threat to Belobog, and the cracks left by the Stellaron will gradually disappear.
Until the Stellaron can completely rid itself of Orion's mental influence, it will remain sealed. Orion believes this will take a good amount of time, which he hopes will be long enough for the crew to arrive.
After all the intense spiritual fight and succeful seal, Orion quietly admired the view in front of him and allowed himself to fade away.
Footsteps echoed in the usually deserted Everwinter Hill as a blonde woman, relying on her own strength, crossed the sheer cold and arrived at his location.
Seeing the woman before him, Orion felt a sense of familiarity mixed with strangeness. As he infused his memories with his sudden boost of spiritual energy, many of his memories were lost and used as fuel.
As Orion was about to disappear, the blonde woman standing in front of him had tears frozen in her eyes.
Orion couldn't remember her name, nor did he understand why she was there.
Looking at the grieving blonde woman, Orion made a decision.
He reached out his hands, intending to give her one final embrace—this woman who might have been very important to him. After all, this was the last thing he could do.
The blonde woman stepped forward, hugging Orion tightly.
But she couldn't hold onto anything.
At the end of his life, Orion managed a smile.
A quiet, but satisfied smile.
On that day a grave was built on Everwinter Hill, and a hero who had dedicated his entire life to Belobog was laid to rest here.
